Maleek reluctantly offers, ”I have some small skill at climbing if the Gen fails.”
”Might be nice to get out and stretch our legs a bit,” the half orc offers with a shrug and no real enthusiasm.
Maleek breathes a sigh of relief at the sighting of land. Still his vigilance does not waiver and he continues to watch the rescued man.
Maleek still mistrustful keeps an eye on the rescued sailor.
Maleek steers clear of the new comer, wary and watchful.
Maleek watches the man as he moves about expressing his thanks. He promises himself that he will keep an eye on this stranger.
oooogggghhhh, Maleek gives a slight moan at his companions generosity and says a short prayer for protection from evil spirits.
Maleek shakes his head as he watches Liath spring into action he mutters to himself, ”Foolish girl, it is easy to understand how she became a prisoner.” Stil, he does not interfere, but watches the process with the stoicism of a man going to his own execution.
Maleek interjects, ”You are actually quite close to land and not in much danger of dying of thirst”
Maleek gives subtle not back to Nabila, he refrains from overwhelming the man in the boat with questions and holds his tongue.

A fishing boat or a trap, Maleek decides. He readies his weapons just in case.

Maleek bows at the thanks offered by the freed half orc. The Mamluk nods in agreement to his commanders suggestion, ”She may not be right in the head. She talks much and makes little sense.” But she called me a hero, he reminded himself.
Maleek takes Nabila’s suggestion as a command, ”As you wish.” He finishes releasing the half orc’s bonds and bows slightly, “Do not fear you are free good woman.”
Not comfortable making the decision to release the prisoner the Mamluk waits for an order. His razor grasped tightly in his large calloused hands as he waits.
Maleek freezes, shamefaced, at his his leaders command.
”A thousand pardons mistress,” removing his razor and moving to cut Laith’s bonds. He continues as he slices through the ropes ”I am Maleek your humble servant and contrary to your guess I am no knight.” His smile widens, ”Maleek is a a simple Mamluk and barber.”
With the corsairs dispatched Maleek cleans the blood off his weapon and checks his blade. He tries to conceal his surprise at the appearance of the half orc from the tent, ”Hello...um... and who might you be?”
Well... hello there. I like the two points.
Blood dripping from his side Maleek swings his curved blade at the Corsair. He quickly changes direction of the sword hoping to catch his foe with the backswing.
Seeing an opening Maleek rushes in with his sword held high above his head in a two handed grip.
Maleek carefully watches these powerful woman twist reality with their magics. He tightens his grip on his sword as he readies himself for the carnage that is sure to come if Fadilah’s spell doesn’t work.
So sorry, take all the time you need.
Maleek take his Khopesh sword from his sheath in one smooth movement and examines the blade before he turns to the others, "Are you ready to begin this butchers work my friends?"
One of the Mamluks, a squat muscular half orc, approaches the party. He gives a slight bow and says, ”A thousand pardons, I am Maleek, and Sargent Nudar has asked me to stay close to you during the assault.”

This is Mr. Hebeme's submission, Wahleed the Barber, all the information is in the alias. I still need to buy equipment and determine hit points. Which leads to my next question; are you rolling or taking average hit points (or some other method)? I am assuming max hit points at first level. Any feedback or advice would be welcome. |
