About Mal Havok
Mal's the spawn of some minor Taldan noble by way of a chance dalliance with a half-orc understudy in the wings of the Opparan Theatre. Though not fully accepted by his father's family, an 'unfortunate accident' left Mal as his father's only heir.
Recently he discovered that his father's falcata was, in fact, an intelligent weapon. Its first words to Mal were "Your father was a lout & an idiot - gods be praised that you appear to have some glimmer of potential. Now, let's get to work on your techniques."
Update: Due to recent events within the Taldor faction, Mal has been granted a title. Baron Malcolm von Havok.
He also has a personal shopper that keeps his wardrobe up to date, granting him the Height of Fashion vanity.
With the recent events surrounding the Hou Jin Tapestry & the link thru it from Absalom to far off Varisia, he's strengthened his ties to the local temple of the Accidental God. The local Brewhouse knows Mal to be a member in good standing [in otherwords, he's acquired the Temple vanity].
