About Makka Bojan
High Concept: Helpful Handyman
Trouble: Help Me Obi Wan

Background: Born in New Orleans to Martha Bojan and Matej Bojan. Matej was an army 'lifer'. Makka's parents go divorced when he was young and he took turns staying with each parent for a year at a time. One year in New Orleans followed by one year in Serbia, repeated. Moving so much made Makka act out by acts of vandalism and those acts got more serious as he started committing crimes. He was body guard and enforcer to gangs on each side of the world. His mother encouraged him to leave that lifestyle. He joined a dojo in New Orleans and was making progress of reforming himself. His father was killed in an ambush in Iraq. Makka rededicated improving himself and helping society instead of harming it. After he finished college he has not found a path, he does handyman projects and helps people out when he can.
After his father's death, his martial arts training became almost surreal. Makka was seeing spirits that would give him pointers on improving himself and his martial arts. He learned to do things that surprise his sensei. His sensei, vernable Dao Le, has helped guide him as much as he can.

Makka was born in Belgrade, Serbia. His mother, Martha, is a New Orleans native. Makka took one year 'trips' to New Orleans and Belgrade since he was young, until his father died, then moved to New Orleans.
His family was not rich but were comfortable. Makka's mother is a professor at Grambling State and his father's army income kept them in a good lifestyle. Makka was close to both his parents and he was lucky enough to not have them use him as a weapon to hurt each other.
Makka spent each year at a different school, though only two high schools alternating years. He went to University of New Orleans and got a BA in Industrial Design with a 1 year exchange program at Belgrade University.
Makka's friends outside of school were trouble. Some of them were adults in 'families' that used him for things, light crimes, bag boy, messenger, vandal, thief. He was lucky that he was never convicted of a crime, he was unlucky that he saw some of his friends get caught and go to jail or even killed. Now he has three close friends; Heath, from his dojo, Sara, from an art studio, and Javor, who he met at university in Belgrade. Heath and Sara live in New Orleans and Javor in Belgrade.
Makka's supernatural abilities manifested during his martial arts training around age 17. Only Heath and Dao Le know about them.
