I adore Durgal!

This concept is so twisted that he will be memorable once his plot is uncovered. Isn't that what you want from all of your villains in a game?

This one is easily the most likely to be stolen for my own campaign use.

I am getting ready to start the campaign soon. My party will contain:

- Hellbred warlock

- Human Fighter

- Human Druid

- Paladin of Wee Jas (race TBD)

- Monk (race TBD)

- Halfling Rogue/Bard (eventually)

I am very excited to get this campaign rolling. There have been such great resources on this board that I am dying to put some of the fantastic ideas I seen here into practice.

I am not sure that I agree with you on this, StevenO. As I recall, the Fiendish Codexes suggest that both Graz'zt and Asmodeus are involved in some major plotting to engineer a massive realignment of the Blood War into a good vs. evil conflict. Getting rid of Graz'zt's rivals may be the best way to ensure that these two can complete their "axis of evil" without intereference. Killing Demogorgon may play right into Asmodeus' plot.

Much diabolic laughter ensues.

On a slightly related subject..which god finally did in the ur-priests? Curious to know in case my party has any connection to said deity.

I'm routing for St. Cuthbert.

I also am very interested to learn the fate of the ur-priests. One of my players is going to be playing a hellbred (from Tyrants of Hell) warlock, and wants to have his previous existence be something of a mystery to him. I was toying with the idea of his character having been one of the ur-priests, who had engineered his death-bed recanting in an effort to escape his much-deserved damnation. After all, who better than an ur-priest to be able to sucker the naive forces of Good?

I would love to know who my player will have to thank for his previous death when he learns of his past life of evil.
