Got a devotee of Shelyn looking for a prestige class suggestion. She is expecting to take the character to about 5th level in each class before looking for something more. Thanks in advance for the feedback.

Wow. That is an awesome link. My players kinda went off rails while on a layover docked in Corantyn. They got some horses and decided to see what was up the coast. I have been forced to adlib as they have decided the module we were doing was not as fun as watching me make stuff up as they go. :)

I would have liked to stick to the canon material as much as possible but I don't think they are ready to mix it up with that faction.

Thanks again for the info.

In the Inner Sea Guide there is a point of interest on the map of Cheliax just north of Corantyn named Citadel Gheradesca. Is this place detailed in another product?

What's the best way to handle TPK? Pretend it didn't happen? Everyone makes a new character? Something else?

Laugh my freakin head off?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I am a 43 year old male who has never served in the military. I started playing DnD over 35 years ago with the TSR White and Blue softback. I still have it. It is very tattered (well-loved) but I take it out and show it occasionally to my new players. Most of whom are younger then that book by about a decade :)

Since then I have worked and played with pretty much every system out there to some degree. I would list them but I suspect I would hit a character limit for this post. Took a break from RPG's a few years ago when my employer at the time (WotC) took my favorite IP in a direction I was, how shall I say this? NOT HAPPY WITH.

But fortunately along came along my own personal Jesus, Paizo Publishing.

Since they saved (IMO) tabletop gaming, I have inducted about 80 new players via word of mouth. I went so far as buying some of them copies of the core rules to win over the more diehard 2.0 and 3.5 vets. Not a single one has gone back as far as I know.

Of the groups I have played with I would say about 80% are male. My current group is six players with a 50/50 gender split. Of my current group, only one has any leanings toward military service. He has enlisted in the army and is awaiting shipping out to basic. The average age of my current group is 25. We have been playing weekly (and sometimes twice a week) with this group for about six months.

My previous group was built of six individuals (Two females, four males). I played with this group weekly for about 8 years. None of the members had a military history. The starting age range of players varied a bit more (28-35). It was fun watching the group get a bit of grey as we got towards the end of the group's run. Hopefully that didn't have anything to do with my skills as a GM. :)

I am always looking to connect with more gamers. Particularly since I recently relocated to a new town (Port Angeles, Washington). So if you live in the area, send me a message. :)

So in the Ultimate Combat book they add the Tonfa as a weapon (about darn time). In the notes section of the weapon it mentions "Blocking", where are the rules on using it for blocking? Thanks in advance.

Greetings,

I have 4-5 somewhat regular players. We are currently transitioning campaigns so alot of the details are still in the air. I will potentially be taking over GMing in about 2-3 weeks. Where do you commute from? 85 Miles is quite a haul. If you are travelling south to your game you may be shaving a bit of travel time with my group as our group is in the Northgate area of North Seattle. My plan is to play on sundays starting about noon. I prefer longer sessions (Typically 7-8 hours) but I am flexible. I am new to Pathfinder but have been playing DnD/Chainmail since 1977. I was actually working for WotC when DnD 3.0 was in the works so I suspect the Pathfinder (DnD 3.75) learning curve will be minimal. :)

I use a homebrewed campaign setting with a few house rules. Emphasis is on roleplay and unique character generation. I could go on with the details but I will pass the thread back to you. Thanks again for your time and let me know if you have any questions.

Looking for more players or to join an existing group to play Pathfinder. I am new to Pathfinder but to gaming. I can GM or Play. Been away from the table for awhile and I am really ready to get back into a regular game. Look me up on Facebook if you are interested.

Thanks!

Greetings fellow Paizonians!

After a extended break from a regular gaming group, I am looking to join a Pathfinder group ideally located near my home in North Seattle. I prefer games that emphasize role playing and long term unique character development. Thanks for your time and good journeys!
