Biography

Appearance: Lupi is emaciated from a lifetime of going without, has a long neck, and rarely keeps her blue eyes open due to light sensitivity. Her smile takes up most of her face, and her right ear is missing the tip. Her arms and legs are also incredibly scarred, but she covers this with long-sleeved clothing and unassuming trousers. Her blonde hair is cut short, however, to display the one injury she seems proud of.

Background: Lupi was the child of a secret halfling slave tryst, and as punishment for her birth, her mother was murdered by a crooked Chelish noble and future owner.
Forced to take the night shift in errand running for the family, she often would only narrowly avoid the prowling dangers of Westcrown's nights. When this led to her failure in an errand, she was given the most creative of punishments, which would only worsen if she made eye-contact with her oppressor and making some ridiculous pun about what had caused her lack of success.
Despite such hardships, Lupi worked very hard to keep both her own spirits and those of her fellows soaring, learning to sing and dance in the quiet final hour before dawn. The magic came with it, but Lupi would use it only in secret.
One day during her errands (which was, unbeknownst to her, sending her to her death via diabolical sacrifice) she just decided not to go through with it, sold the parcel she was sent with, and didn't go home. She failed to leave Westcrown, though, lingering on for nearly a month for want of kinship. Thankfully, she's good at appearing what she is not, and is able to perform in some sections of town under the radar. She also takes care of Sophone, whose suffering had weighed greatly on her heart before.

Personality: Lupi is a kindly young halfling woman who just can't resist a chance to burst into song. She does, however, have a tendency to keep her eyes closed that causes stumbling, running into walls, etc. She also can't help herself in the face of confrontation, taunting and insulting enemies in amusing ways whether they understand her or not.
