While pregnant with him, Lugdro's mother and father drew the ire of a coven of hags. The most powerful of them, Ditchwater Weesa, created a potion that infused with her vile blood, disguised herself as a midwife and tricked the pregnant woman into taking the cursed draught. The infusion did something horrible to the baby still growing in Lealla's womb, and her labor pains were terrifying as the baby grew steely nails and teeth, and bones that should be small grew long and stretched her cruelly from inside. She delivered Lugdro soon thereafter, but the damage was done... bleeding inside from the processof birthing the long, sharp creature that was her son, Lealla soon expired.
Lugdro's father, Fenton, a local huntsman, mourned the loss of his wife, and hated the vile little whelp that felled her, but at the same time knew that he had brought the curse upon his family and had himself to blame. He raised the boy as best he could... Lugdro was smart, fairly strong and healthy, and had a strong personality. But even with those strengths, he couldn't look at the boy and not see the slightly greenish tint to his skin, or the pointed teeth behind lips that looked like his late wife's. When Lugdro was 8 and displayed that he had some facility for magic inside of him, his father sent him to live an old friend far from home. He wasn't gone three days before Fenton slit his own throat above the grave of his wife.
Lugro studied for several years with the mage, Polluflax de'Chien. In time, he felt the call for vengence swell inside him, and he has decided to work to get the strength to take on Ditchwater Weesa and her foul sisters.
