male human Oracle (nature) 1

Hey, guys. I'm super bummed to say that I'm not going to be able to join after all. When the ball started rolling on this game, I was on Christmas break from school and I was recovering from a surgery. I had a LOT of time on my hands. Now that things are back in full swing, I realize I had forgotten how busy I am with work, 2 young kids, and independent study grad school. The other day, I tried 3 times to drop a post and things kept coming up. I just wasn't having time. And the only way I was able to even get a character rolled up was by taking a night off of my grad school work, which I really shouldn't have done.

TL:DR - I'm super bummed but I just know I won't be able to keep pace. I withdrew for the sake of the game.

Have fun, guy. I'll be lurking when I can.

This is gonna be a fun group. :-)

Lucky is a nature oracle. He's VERY comfortable in the wild. All his gimmicks are geared toward nature. He's almost a druid, but with cleric-like cure spell progression. I'd say the "nature liason" role is filled.

Is Shorga not a tank?

We just need an arcane caster and we can go. This is starting to drag.

Shorga will tank/deal damage. Shilyn will be a good rogue. Travis will be good for melee backup. I'll heal and guide. I can get a bow and be ranged...though a ranger would admittedly be better. Tell the recruitment thread that what we really need is an arcane caster and see what they come up with.

My (antsy) 2 cents...

Jake here. This is the oracle. Working on getting his stats into the profile now.

My first choice, since Shilyn has offered to be flexible, would be to invite Allie, have Shilyn be arcane somehow and call it good. However, I, too, am flexible. We needed a healer, so I rolled up Lucky. I could easily do the same for another role. (I am pretty excited about Lucky's story and personality though.)

But whatever. At this point I'd almost rather just see a decision made and move on, regardless of what the decision is. Hope that doesn't come off as too dismissive. I'm just excited.
