Description
Lucius is tall and thin, but wiry with dark black hair and dark eyes. He is well groomed and very neat in appearance.

Brief History:

Luc felt uneasy and struggled to fit in as he joined the forces traveling across the north to Mendev.

The simple reason being he had no recollection of his life before prior day when he awoke to find himself in a bordertown named Hajoth Hakados. His mind held many memories but the problem was that they were not his own. In some memories, he was a youth looking into a pool of water and seeing purple eyes in his reflection. In others, he remembered being a brutal orc running the country-side and slaughtering those he came across under a sky darkened by a shroud of dust from the Starfall. Still, in others he remembered being a human bureaucrat in world full of devices seemingly familiar to him although he had no idea what they are. His memories were unending and he did not know what to make of them. But, it felt right to wield a weapon in his left hand and for that it felt right to choose for himself a name from his memory, Lucius Scaevus or Luc the left-handed.

When Lucias heard the soldier leading a group of crusaders north through Hajoth Hakados and telling a story of returning to fight the demons as his parents had done, he could not help but follow for he had a similar memory although he knew it was not really his. He had other memories of crusaders in his blood, childhood memories of being saved from cultists by a woman warrior with a bow and adult memories of being a templar and taking others for all they were worth. How or why he had these memories he could not answer but the nearer he drew to Mendev the stronger those feelings coursed in his veins

Their travels led him to Kenabres.

Introduction to those around him in Kenabres:

The crusader in front of Lucius spoke up in a stern voice, "You, tusk face, speak up. Who are you and what are your plans here in Kenabres. Your kind traffics too much with the demon mother"

Inwardly, Lucius winced as he began to speak without thinking. "I am Lucius Scaevus or, if you prefer, Luc left-handed." He often so responded and it was sometimes difficult to know what memories would be speaking for him and sometimes difficult to later remember what they had said. "I was once told that I should not try to live in my forefathers' footsteps but rather choose the best my forefathers had to offer and use it as a building block to make something new, better, and lasting." As Lucius remembered it, he was not told this but gave it as part of a speech to a collection of scholars and bureaucrats and politicians. He continued, "My bloodline is filled with that of great scholars and great warriors throughout." Lucius could see the skeptical faces of those listening but was powerless to stop speaking. "My line is filled with both heroes and villains, but I choose how to fulfill my destiny. In another time or place, I might use those gifts of brawn and intellect from my forefathers to build a nation or a school but I am faced with a different problem." Now, Lucius felt he was speaking for himself. "If this threat of demons we are faced with is not defeated there may be nothing left to build upon or to fight for. I choose to do what I can and to help others both see what needs to be done and do so."

He quickly quieted, not being sure if he had spoken inappropriately and fearing that a few minutes later he would forget what he had said.

Racial Features
Scavenger: Some half-orcs eke out a leaving picking over the garbage heaps of society, and must learn to separate rare finds from the inevitable dross. Half-orcs with this racial trait receive a +2 racial bonus on Appraise checks and on Perception checks to find hidden objects (including traps and secret doors), determine whether food is spoiled, or identify a potion by taste. This racial trait replaces the intimidating trait.
Sacred Tattoo: Many half-orcs decorate themselves with tattoos, piercings, and ritual scarification, which they consider sacred markings. Half-orcs with this racial trait gain a +1 luck bonus on all saving throws. This racial trait replaces orc ferocity.
Darkvision 60'
Weapon Familiarity: Half-orcs are proficient with greataxes and falchions and treat any weapon with the word “orc” in its name as a martial weapon.

Traits
1. Campaign Trait Child of the Crusade Once per day when you fail a saving throw against an effect created by a demon that would possess or incapacitate you mentally, you may immediately reroll that saving throw as a free action. You must take the second result, even if it is worse.
2. Adopted (Human) World Traveler You've seen dozens of cultures and have learned to appreciate the diversity of what the world has to offer. Gain +1 trait bonus on Diplomacy.

Feats
1st level Persuasive You are skilled at swaying attitudes and intimidating others into your way of thinking.
Benefit: You get a +2 bonus on Diplomacy and Intimidate skill checks. If you have 10 or more ranks in one of these skills, the bonus increases to +4 for that skill.
