Background:
Loris is a halfling orphan raised at Sandpoint’s Turandarok Academy. She is well known to Ilsoari Gandethus (the headmaster). She has no idea who her parents were. She’s always enjoyed city life and doesn’t care much for the wilds. But, she does love animals — especially rabbits! She wants to be famous and perform at Cyrdak Drokkus’ theatre.
A travelling halfling magician known for using rabbits in her act. One of her rabbits, Ballis, is particularly smart and vicious. She and Ballis have been friends a long time, and she even used to sneak her into her classes. She pulls all her rabbits and their homes behind her in a little pink wagon. They love to swim (sometimes), run, jump, and play. Loris doesn’t have many friends (she’s too busy with her rabbits). She does have a friendly rivalry with fellow halfling performer Thalie Fiffenheim, a halfling fiddler she met at Cracktooth’s. They live together in a small shack with a yard on Church Street (by the cliff) between White Deer Inn (3), the map shop (4), the jeweler’s (5), and near the Church. She’s on good terms with her neighbours, Maver and Pennae Kesk (although their son Chester thinks she’s weird), and the Viskelai family who run the inn (Garridan, Imenda, and their kids Akrem, Beshkee, Tanja, and Yahalek).
Earlier today she performed at Cracktooth’s Tavern, where she is a regular. She’s liked by the owners, Jesk and Alissa Berinni, and their kids Carn, Cassandra, Kimmi, Len, Quinton, and Wallas. She also performs on the street for extra coin.
Appearance and Personality:
Loris is a young looking halfling with long red hair, brown eyes, and a black top hate tied with a pink ribbon. She wears bright pink boots, a black frilly skirt, a dark pink vest, white frilly blouse, and a worn out brown leather jacket. Behind her she carries a little pink canopied wagon which houses a bunch of rabbits and their homes. Another, larger rabbit follows close on her heels.
Loris is spunky, creative, and ambitious. She’s always thinking of her next magic trick, and wants to be famous. She loves her rabbits very much. She’s friendly, but is too busy to have many friends. She loves to drink strawberry milk, and eat anything with peanut butter or cheese. She hates the dark.
