Looking around, Greg notices that Grunyar and Grigori have wandered off into the crowd, and Momonosuke is nowhere to be found. Bored and left on his own, Greg heads for the nearest "do not enter" sign and proceeds to disobey it.

Stealth: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16

Fine for me either way.
I mean, Greg's a thief, but the idea is that he was the enforcer of his gang.

Oh yeah! Here ya go:

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10

looks like I did not train in Diplomacy :P

In that case, and assuming there's not much else going on, Greg will try to engage a goblin servant or a younger goblin in conversation:

"Hei gyfaill, beth sy'n bod ar y lle yma? Mae'n ymddangos braidd yn ddiflas, ie? Wyt ti'n gwybod am unrhyw beth diddorol yn digwydd?"

Greg slouches around Vigil's Hope, sticking close to the group. He affects a near constant frown and seeming indifference, while quietly taking in everything. "Hungry. When do we eat?"

When nobody's paying attention, he'll give that donation box a little shake to see how full it might be (or a tap on the side, if it doesn't move).

Is everyone just mingling now? Who else is here? Are there mostly humans among the partygoers? The servants? (Greg would be particularly interested if there are goblins about)

"Knights of Lastwall... they don't seem important to me." Grigori says.

Greg lets out an exasperated sigh that drifts into a groan: "UuugghHH!!" Then, muttering: "Who even cares about these guys? Knights of Lastwall, Peacebuilders, friggin' Ulthun, and thrice-damned Csilla. What's the difference? It's always 'oh please' and 'only if you want to' but it's not like you can say 'no' is it?"

'Long-Leg' Greg ("It's just Greg...") is a quiet, shabby, human teenager who's been slouching about the Grand Lodge, looking annoyed at everything (and, to the more observant, maybe a little bit lost).

Despite the epithet, Greg's only about 5'3, with the broad, square shoulders of a rugby player, and a large square head to match. He looks like someone you wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley (and exactly like someone you would meet in a dark alley).

Greg glowers darkly at the invitation (or at anyone reading it aloud), muttering "Great..." in a tone oozing with sarcasm. Parties, nice clothes, and having a bath are not particularly high on Greg's list of priorities. Ditto leaving the house without a weapon.

(That is, he'll reluctantly wash himself and his clothes. The invitation doesn't mention anything about weapons, so Greg'll try to bring along his dogslicer, with a dagger hidden somewhere as well.)

I think just click on one of the free spots where it says "Sign Up" and then fill in the form with your character information.

It looks like you've created a PFS character in Paizo, so you should be able to get the Org Play Number, Character Number, and Faction (required fields) from your account, but let us know if you need help finding that information.

I had to put kitty down this morning. Wednsday woild have been his 14tg birthday.

I've had to do this a few times and it sucks every time.

Well, you've seen how I did it: just copying an image into the Google Slides and putting character icons on top.
Doesn't look great, but minimal effort.

Also, GM, you should note that Trap Finder is also a passive skill: "Even if you aren’t Searching, you get a check to find traps that normally require you to be Searching."

Sorry: I know those are a pain in the ass for GMs, especially in PbP...

Those items tend to be either LVL 0 or 1 so they should be available for you, IF you have the money for them. You only start off with 15 gp from which you have to buy your equipment, armor, weapons, etc. There are class packages that come with things though, depending on the class.

Greg does have some money from the previous PFS games he played, but just in case, I've limited my inventory to the initial 15gp (which basically means that I just purchased one Lesser Alchemists' Fire and some caltrops).

The only other change that I made to Greg was to swap out a Nature skill for Medicine, as that probably makes more sense, give his background.

Yay! I've known Spiderbeard for many years and I've played in several games he's run (PF games and several other systems) -- totally amazing GM!

Also, @Terevalis: One of the players from our Moonshae game (Aeshuura, who was playing Toki) says he can join if there's still room. He'll be playing Ebiten, a human magus.

I have a friend who might be interested -- I'll see if I can get a definitive answer from him.

Otherwise... yeah, I could probably run a second character. Would you want me to draw up a new character, or were you thinking of one of the stock NPCs?

I spent the weekend reading through (most of) the book -- I might make a few very minor changes to Greg as a result, since we're still waiting to start (I'll let you know if I do), but I was also wondering if there's an opportunity for him to purchase a couple of items (e.g., elixirs or alchemical tools)?

Would anyone be interested if I bought a Patron account from Herolab? It might help making characters easier and let you know what was legal or not. You would need to purchase at least am apprentice level account.

It looks like Apprentice level is free?

Also does anyone want to merge backgrounds such that your character and my character have some history together in some way?

I'm happy to try to come up with a shared history, if it fits with your idea for the character, though it might depend on your character's ancestry or place of origin.

Although human, Long-Leg Greg was adopted into an all-goblin gang in Kaer Maga as the "heavy." He was scooped up and conscripted by Envoy's Alliance.

Yes Terevalis Unctio of House Mysti I have created a PFS account but how does one register a character?

From your Paizo account page, scroll down to the Organized Play section, and click the Make Changes button. From there, you should be able to register a new PFS (2e) character.

If I recall correctly, you have to fill out the character sheet in this PFS section, rather than in the usual Create New Alias section.

I do not see your e-mail in the chronicle sign up.
