Logan was born on the feral world of Loss in the Malfian sub-sector. His mother was an off world missionary, there to preach the word of The Emperor to the men and woman of the forsaken planet. His father on the other hand was a feral world warrior, a strong and stoic man who protected his wife and raised his son to be a strong and capable man, wise in the ways of combat and survival. It was a hard lifestyle, one that would have made Logan a strong and pious man. That would not happen however, as his father's untimely death a few days before Logan's fourteenth birthday would leave his family with nothing but a half trained boy to defend them. To save them the same fate as his father, Logan's mother got them off world aboard a mission ship that would take them to a far safer world.
They would eventually settle on a frontier world known as Kessae, a planet notoriously plagued by pirates. Here his skills learned on Loss would translate well into bounty hunting, which quickly became his profession. By the age of seventeen he had gained a reputation as a very dangerous bounty hunter, to whom all but the slipperiest of marks fell to. It would soon come to pass that he would leave Kessae and roam the subsector's underbelly, hunting its most dangerous denizens for thrones and glory. Eventually he would find himself unknowingly hunting a rogue psyker in the name of the inquisition, a job that landed him in a tough position at its end: join his employers, or dissappear. Needless to say, he chose the former.
