I have found a lot of generators to help me with DMing. But i am trying to find one that will randomly generate a Building such as a house, manor and a castle. Any ideas. thanks for the help.


I am wanting to make two PC's into zombie lords since they get to keep their class levels. But i do have couple of questions:
1) it says they get no special attacks. Does this mean they cant use anything beyond their basic attacks ex: unarmed attacks for rogue, and basic melee with bard. Also can i use flurry with monk since its considered part of its normal attack. does this include magic since the zombie lord says its constitution score is the only one to go down to zero.
2) it also says BAB: A zombie lord’s BAB for its racial HD is equal to 3/4 its HD. Now since these are class levels does this mean they keep their normal bab or should i assume that anything that says racial also includes class.

I am preparing for The Hook Mountain Massacre and I have two questions when my pc's first come across the Giant Skull Staircase. My first is does anyone have any good pictures of it that i can show my group. Second how did other GM's take care of the Acrobatics checks to getup the staircase. It says its nearly 200ft high. so if its a 10ft step that would be around 20 acrobatics checks. And that seems like a lot to me. I was thinking of doing a general check since the dc is so low but since there is a chance of failure. Or should i not worry about it since the wizard can use teleport. Thanks for the help.


I am running Curse of the Crimson Throne Anniversary Edition. My group is inthe middle of the first floor battleing Queens Physicians, Grey Maidens and YES the city guard. Well at least one the other died but not before he sent for the rest of the town guard. So one of my players idea is to start a riot something like "Their hiding the cure in there its ours lets take it" and it would escalate from their. Im going to have him make a diplomacy/charisma check to see if he starts one. But im not sure what to make the DC. Also how doyou run a riot? Has anyone done this before? And if i can do it. How do i handle the fallout because right now pretty much the entire city has caught the plague so i know some will be killed because the queen will have to send out he rest of the queens physicians and probably the hell knights to contain it, but that will take time as they are spread through out the city. Another question is how long should it last? should i roll a d4 to determine how many days it stays for? Or perhaps a d10 for how many hours it lasts? Thanks for the help.


This is my first time using charm monster as a DM or as a play. But what can i have them do to help the bbg in the party. They know this person is bad. so can i ask them to go down the tower and guard it fromintruders. Could i some how convince them that their is a family in more danger than what they are doing now. And how do i make it more affective against a paladin? Thanks for the help.


I know improved critical doubles the threat range of a weapon. And fromteh paizo forums ive read a natural 20 crit just goes down to a 19. Im not certain how that's doubled? Is it worth it. The monster im using has a x4 crit multiplier. Thanks for the help.


My group is coming close to the end of Chapter 3 in the anniversary edition. But none of them has the crafting skill (Alchemy) to even try to make a cure for the plague. So my question is how high of a level should i make this Alchemist Wizard. I want them to have a chance but i want to show that the plague has had an affect on the arcane community as well. I have noticed that Monsters use Charisma and there for take the sorcerer route with spells. But if i increase a caster level from 9 to 11. would the monster than gain spells as an 11th level caster or is there some rule im not seeing. thanks for the help.


Now i know many monsters have spell lists. As a player i never cared but now as a DM i am wanting to up a creatures Caster Level to make hium more of a challenge and i know an increase in CL usually means more spells. So where do i draw them from. And also where in the book can i find how to calculate a monsters save dc's that dont have a class. Thanks for the help.

I am running Curse of the Crimson Throne Anniversary edition and I have a player that plays a Cleric and he has confided in me that he would like to play with a Griffon as a companion that is fighting trained. Now after reading the Griffon entry in the bestiary i know it takes six weeks to get a Griffon Trained. and I have noticed that so far Crimson Thrones is very time sensitive. Now they are investigating the Blood Veil. Now my idea is for him to find one in his travels perhaps trapped in a dungeon or perhaps its previous rider died in the plague and it wants revenge. Unfortunately I have never run Crimson Throne all the way through so i dont know where i would stick the Griffon to be found. Please all help is appreciated. Thanks.

P.S. I was thinking that perhaps he can strike a bargain with the Griffon with the help of Speak with Animals potion (with it being altered for Magical Beasts) Perhaps the Griffon can be found in the were rat sewer in the cage instead of the Otyugh? Thanks for the help again.

I have always wanted to play a Half-Elven Two weapon warrior. I always imagine her as using acrobatics to getting into the best tactical positioons and causing massive amounts of damage. But i know TWF's need a full round for both blades. Now is this possible to do all this moving with a TWF or should i just stick to a single weapon, basically an elven Curved Blade, and do massive amounts of damage that way. Also is there a way to apply dex to dmg. i know weapon finesse can apply des to atk but is there anyway to apply dex to dmg. Also can anyone give me a link to Dawnflower Dervish. I hear lots of good things about it but i cant find a link to it anywhere. Or perhaps what book its in. Thanks for all the help.


According to the Ride by Attack feat my charge while mounted continues in a straight line and i dont take any attack of opportunities. so my question is it possible to hit more than one target in that straight line and if so do i negate the attack of opportunity from all of them or just the first one. This concerns the rooftop chase with the new Anniversay edition of Curse of the Crimson Throne. When doing the the Shingles chase they get bombareded by a burst of stirges now the way to get past them is either an intimidate check or a perception check. Now i understand perception seeing to go around them but how do you intimidate sturges. Thanks for the help.


Im a newish DM and was wondering what kind of skills are used to find out that items are like : Combound Longbow +3, +1 padded armor, +1 shield. Should i just give it to them or is their a skill that can be used to find out what these are. Im thinking appraise might help but im not sure. Thanks for the help.


I am interested in playing a Master of Many Forms in a current Pathfinder game and was wondering if Paizo has come up with a new prestige class that is essentially the same thing as the Master of Many Forms. I was asked to DM a game for a group of people and one of the races he chose was a Fetchling. Now it says its has darkvision and lowlight vision. But the player says it stacks Example: if a torch is 60ft at the end of a dark corridor than once his darkvision reaches its limit than his low light vision kicks in giving him im assuming (since its longer than human sight) another 60ft? or is it 30 im not certain how far humans can see with torches? I am setting up Dynamic lightin on roll20 so im just trying to make sure i adjust his sight right.


Thanks for the help i just have afew questions:
1. If a creature can fly but the room description doesnt give one should i assume its the same height given for the first room in the dungeon.
2. How easy do you make trap finding? If there is a trap and theres a rogue in the group do i just ask him/her for one or leave it to them to ask and spring it on them if they dont. And do i handle with kid gloves if there is no rogue available for trapfinding?

Do Sorcerers need to have a spell in the spells known inorder to caste from a scroll. Example does a sorcerer need to know mage armor in order to caste mage armor from a scroll. I dont think so but im not sure.


During the Edge of Anarchy the Pc's have to go and fight an Alligator Gobblegut i believe. My question is on his grab attack. I assume this is a standard grapple attack vs cmd. But my question is they make a point of saying that he is 500 pounds how does the fact the is pulling them in affect the players grapple check. Thanks for the help.


I am running Curse of the Crimson Throne for the first time and i have a couple of questions:
1. If the pc's go to the fishery in the daytime and choose to go through the door (which according to the bbok is either opened slightly or all the way)that opens to area A7 (the room with Hookshanks) does hookshanks automatically attack them or could the pc's try diplomacy or bluffing to get through to try and get to Gaedren?
2. I noticed that the only way according to the map to get to is through the secret door through the bottom of the barge but since area A12 is below the main walkway to the barge is it conceivable that the pc's can see it and try to find a new way down. Or am i thinking too hard about this?
3. Never used or even heard of a harrow deck before but i have to say its what peaked my interest in this game. I have a pdf version of the harrow deck and i plan on using it (i use roll20). But besides the way its explained in the AP and in the instructions that come with the actual harrow deck is there anything else i need to know about using one (especially using it online).
4. Harrow Points. I understand how their generated. Seems kind of iffy how they are given to the pc's. Anything against the rules saying i cant roll like a d4 or a d6 in secret and say that's how many they get. Also the frequency they get them seems to be once per book (at least thats what i interpret when it says "at the beginning of each adventure"). Can they be regained at the beginning of eaach session or are they supposed to be of a certain limit?

I am putting together a group to play Curse of the Crimson Throne. And i was wondering if anyone had any tips or tricks using the Harrow cards. I know you use them to make general fortunetelling of the future. But i am wondering if anyone has any tips on making it really fun.

I am running ROTRL and I have a question on reading their creatures stat blocks. On top it says something like Thistletop Commandos (Goblin Ranger 1) (2) and to the left it says CR 1. Now does that mean their both together worth a CR 1 encounter or is it two CR 1 encounters. The only reason i ask is because they reference a page previous where a Goblin Commando (Goblin Ranger 1) was a CR 1 encounter. Im confused because i thought adding a PC glass brings a cr 1/3 to cr 1/2. Now i understand that having pc equivalent gear can raise the CR which is probably how the first Goblin Commando was a CR 1 by himself. But if it is two Goblin Commandos and they are together considered one Cr 1 encounter meaning cr 1/2 each. Do i need to lower their gear that is referenced in the printed adventure. I am a newer GM and i am making my own world. I would like it to be an
Epic Fantasy. But I like my players to roll for their stats. So I figure that 4d6 minus the lowest equals around a 20pt game. But what would equal a 25pt game? 5d6 minus the lowest? All suggestions and ideas are welcome. The reason i dont use the point buy is because i just prefer rolls. But here is another question if i do an Epic Fantasy Campaign what changes do i need to make to the monsters in the Bestiary. I know my Npc's i can make by hand but i am more worried about the ones in the Bestiaries. Thanks for the help.


I am working from an old copy of ROTRL and i cant afford to buy the anniversary edition. My problem is i cant seem to find out what two feats do. They are Adept Summoner and Master Summoner. Would anyone be able to tell me what these feats do or be able to tell me what feats replaced them. Thanks for the help.


The stat block lists three types of weapons it has with it but it doesnt say if it has three arms. since its mutated i assume it does so can it attack with all three attacks with the normal penalties or is it stuck to one attack? Thanks for the help.


In ROTRL forthe Catacombs of wraith it doesn't say how hi the ceiling is. I only ask because the Vargouille has a fly of 30ft and I assume there's enough room to fly over the parties head. Should I assume that there is 15ft from ceiling to floor?


i am a newish GM and I am going through the process of making my own world. And in my world the undead do not exist (at first) after awhile someone starts doing experiments with the dead and than he/she starts making the undead for the first time. My question is how do you spread rumors in a game with them not seeming really important at first but than make them with more seeming urgency. I intend for them to start hearing rumors around level 2-5 and not really seeing evidence until around level 8-10. Thanks for the help.


I know that normal goblins have a Cr of 1/3. But if they are given a class level does this increase the Cr any. IN ROTRL they make the goblins, goblin Warriors 1.so does this make them a cr 1 or do they stay the same at cr 1/3? Thanks for the help.

I am a newish GM and i am doing Rise of The Runelords as my first Campaign. It has four players and they seem to really be enjoying it. They are getting close to the Catacombs of Wrath and i have a question with the Sinspawn:

1. It lists that they have 2 claws and a bite. So im assuming that's 3 attacks. Or is it just two attacks and they are saying the sinspawns first attack is two claws at once (just rolling one atk roll) and than its bite. And i assume it falls under the rules for using more than one weapon.

2. It lists its init as +0. But its Dex is at least a +1 bonus and it has the improved initiative feat which gives it a +4 bonus so it should at least be a +5 bonus but for some reason in the beginning its listed as +0 and i dont see any reason (at lest any listed reason) why its not listed as +5. Im a little confused. Do i apply the feat and Dex or just keep it at +0.

If a Goblin Commander is riding a Goblin Dog. Does the commander and the dog both get attacks or is it one or the other? Thanks fo rthe help.


After reviewing the first book (Burnt Offerings) I noiticed it didn't have maps for the beginning goblin fight or the one when they fight the goblin at the guys house. Does anyone have any good maps for those?

I am getting ready to start GMing Rise of the Rune Lords and one of my players has told me eventually he wants to take the feat Inscribe Magical Tattoo (Item Creation). From what i understand it allows him to make a magical tattoo that counts as a slot-less item. Now I've never seen this before and i have some questions. Since its slotless does that mean if he has a tattoo on his feet he could also wear magical boots as well. And can they tattoo any magical items or just the ones that say they are specifically tattoos. Also can anyone tell me what book its in. I can't seem to find out on the pfsrd. thanks for the help.

Because i can't drive i have to play Pathfinder or any DnD games online. And all i see GM's using is Maps and tokens which i geuss is okay but it seems they rely on that instead of doing a good description. I'm wondering as a newer GM is it possible to do it like you would do it at home. Meaning describing whats going on and only drawing out the areas that have combat instead of having a map on the virtual table top all the time. And i was wondering if anyone had any suggestion on running a game like that. Thanks for the help.

I was looking for Pathfinders official campaign setting. When a friend gave me Pathfinder Chrinicles Campaign setting. Is this the official one or at least a good one. It was bought in 2009/2010 if i use it is there a way to get an update or are there any Erratas out there for it. Thanks for the help?
