Meriele Amanai lost her parents when orcs raided her home community. She barely escaped and made her way to the human town of ___. Where she tried to survive on the streets.
Living there for years and eventually decades of pickpocketing and stealing food from market stalls, she organized a small group of urchins around herself gaining a certain amount of influence. With more and more successful scams and thefts the group managed to scrape out a good living. The fact that, even for a young elf she had a small stature paired with that she grew much slower than her human peers earned her the nickname Little Meri.
As Meri herself barely grew into adolescence, most of the other urchins had already become adults. Together they founded a small orphanage to prevent other children from having to live like they had to. When she finally came into adulthood Meri struck out to use the skills she acquired in the streets in adventuring, in hopes to collect more money for the orphanage.
Meriele is short even for an elf, her long dark hair is messy but tied back into a ponytail to stay out of the way. Several strands hang loosely out of the hairdo though framing her bronze colored, dark-eyed face.
Her appearance is not very impressive, simple grey clothes and a cheap, but functional set of leather armor covers them. She carries several blades of varying lengths as well as a bow about her body and puches on her belt contain several tools of her trade.
