About Liliana

Liliana was bullied as a kid for being half-elf. Living with an abusive father wasn’t any better either. Her mother was told to be dead, but Liliana did not want to believe that. Instead she believed her mother ran from her father. At the age of 12, she got the chance to run away too, but on the road, she still fell into trouble and was attacked. She was knocked unconscious, but when she came to, she was hospitalized in a monastery where a monk saved her while traveling the same road. During her recovery, she saw the monks train their bodies to fight back through physical and mental strength. This interested Liliana, so she devoted her life to the monks and their god, Irori.

With the monk’s hospitality and training, her perception and reflexes began to rise, and with her praying to Irori for strength and guidance, she was granted wisdom and divine powers that resonated with her innate elf magic. With this power, she completed her training and walked back into the world, ready to face whatever came her way.

On her journey, she came to Absalom, where she was once again picked on for being half-elf. After a few words, the gang that teased her was on the ground, where a Taldoran came up to her to commend her strength, asking if she would be willing to aid in his faction. She initially declined, but after the Taldoran spoke of their political struggle and compared it to her life as a half-elf, convinced her if a half-elf could help in regain strength to their nation, and stories of her were told to far reaches of the land, she and other half-elves would be looked at as a force to be thought twice about. And so after signing with Taldor, she henceforth she became known as “Liliana, The Divine,” Half-Elf Monk of Taldor.
