I'll see if Andrew still wants to play, but I guess we can get through this book.
I'm not really into it anymore.
It's been a month. I think it's dead, Jim.
"Let me know if you need any help," Lilac tells Verdant.
I'm open to continuing.
"I don't have anything I can start a fire with unless I bang two rocks together."
"Okay, LQ, let's get that stew reheated," Lilac says. "I don't know how to cook though..."
Lilac brings the bangle to Cylver. "I think it's magical, so maybe you should hold onto it for now."
Mind + History: 2d8 ⇒ (3, 5) = 8
Lilac tells the others of everything she found.
Can I use a mind test with Keen Knowledge to figure out what this bangle is?
Mind: 1d8 ⇒ 4
Good enough.
Lilac pokes around the campsite for anything useful.
Lilac nods. "After all that, we probably should."
"How far is it to the dig site?" Lilac asks, quite done with falling rocks for the time being.
Geez!
"Right!" Lilac yells.
"Left!" Lilac calls out.
I'll be lookout.
Mind: 1d8 ⇒ 5; Phew...
"Cylver, if you can hold the wheel in place with your magic, I can fly on down and try to get it fixed."
"I can keep an eye out for rocks," Lilac offers once they get settled back into the wagon.
Dodge...fly...something...: 1d8 ⇒ 2
*throws hooves in the air*
I need a Mr. Piccolo to help me out.
Lilac flies toward Sunny and snatches him up before anything bad happened.
I'm just going to spend 2 tokens to roll a d20 because a d4 won't cut it.
Body: 1d20 ⇒ 18
Lilac quickly gets airborne as the rocks come tumbling down.
Lilac lets out a sigh of relief.
"That sounds scary!" Lilac exclaims.
"So...aside from the curse, are there other things to watch out for in the Badlands?" Lilac asks.
"Cylver will be alright. Won't you?" Lilac asks her friend.
"So about how far is it to the Badlands from here?" Lilac asks, curious.
"I'm Lilac Cloud," the pegasus introduces herself.
"I think Cylver was using a turn of phrase."
Lilac beams as she gets on the cart. "Thanks a lot!"
"Um, yeah."
Lilac shrugs. "We don't know for sure, just that they've been turned into statues. It's probably magic."
"We're looking some friends of ours who may be trapped out there," Lilac answers.
"Yes, we were wondering if you could point us in the direction of the Badlands," Lilac replies.
Lilac approaches the ponies unloading the boxes and clears her throat. "Excuse me?"
"Oh, they probably know how to get where we're going," Lilac says to the others. "Why don't we go talk to them?"
Lilac nods.
Lilac yawns and looks to LQ. She feels a little bad for her friend. "Sorry you didn't get any rest."
"Thanks, LQ," Lilac says, closing her eyes and dozing off.
Lilac takes a seat and lets out a yawn. "A nap sounds good."
"Dodge City," Lilac says, handing her ticket to the conductor.
"Come on, girls," Lilac says, handing everyone their ticket.
Lilac fishes out four bits from the pouch and hands them over.
"Dodge City, sir," Lilac answers.
"We need four tickets, please," Lilac says.
Lilac heads to the ticket booth as soon as they arrive at the station.
"We better get going then," Lilac says. "Thank you again, Mr. McCreedy."
She heads out of the shop and waits for the others.
"So...what else do we need?" Lilac asks, her head still fuzzy from the yummy lunch.
"Oh, these are very nice," Lilac comments.
