Lia and the raven follow Captain Fremont through the tunnels.

Xael has lifesight, so living creatures shed light to his eyes. He will spot for the group (as much as the twisting, turning tunnels allow for).

i kinda dont understand what i am being told to do. is the young lady voice coming from the basement? where is the mayor going? where is the sister going? where is merton going?

Lia sits on a chair and listens intently once the Emerald Claw's name is dropped.

Lia will reach out and smack the cultist with the buttstock of her crossbow as he passes.

Mayor Roe invited the Aereni so its only right they go to speak with him first

Mayor Roe says "Good ... good you have arrived early I hope the flight by Lyrander airboat wasn't too harsh on you."

Roe eyes the raven and smiles at it.

"Oh, the flight wasn't so bad. I don't travel much, so it was a refreshing experience. Good to see the gnomes making acceptable use of our soarwood, too. Your letter was a touch... vague, could you elaborate as to what business you requested our aid for? The situation seemed quite dire, hence our rushing here."

As she speaks, Lia gracefully makes her way to sit at a couch. The raven hops off her shoulder and flaps over to the fireplace, taking a position on the mantle.

Lia smirks at some joke.

"Hello. Servant of the forest, I take it?"

Walking into the mayor's house is a tall, lithe Aereni elf. You can barely tell she is a woman under her nondescript traveler's clothes and studded leather armor. Drawing back her hood, you see her pale, angular face and white-gold hair. She has a compact hand crossbow strapped to one thigh and a shortsword strapped to the other.

"We have arrived. The Undying Court sends its regards."

The raven on her shoulder looks about the room, pausing briefly on each person it can see.
