Operative Specialization does not add the two free skills per level. Does add the skill focus. Have logged in jira.pcgen

Addressed. Please avoid the regular reporting on JIRA under Data Bugs. The data set isn't tied to the PCGen release being a standalone. The only group suited to handle would be 'https://pcgenorg.atlassian.net/projects/NONVERSION/issues/?filter=allopeni ssues'. The FB groups are actually best since we can address and update the issues pretty quickly.

Hmm...

Unless I am missing something, the insight bonus from the Mechanic's Bypass class feature does not seem to be added to the total skill modifier. No idea if the same happens with other classes, such as e.g. the Operative's Edge ability.

Thanks for the report. That is now fixed and will be in the next release.

Making a soldier and it does not add the weapon proficiency feats in.

None of the classes add "proficiency" feats. They grant the proficiency directly as we read the rules.

@Alesander -
PCGen code is fixed for the next release of pcgen. That's 6.05.04 when that is released. Thanks for bringing this issue to our attention.

Also, the new jira site is https://pcgenorg.atlassian.net/

@Yahsei -
PCGen is free, it's maintained by volunteers. It may be "Buggy at times", but report the bugs and they'll get fixed usually within a week, sometimes within an hour.

Please realize nobody at pcgen is paid for their time or efforts, so please respect the volunteers who have donated literally thousands of man hours to make the program what it is today. We don't have a paid staff or professional coders. Just people like you and me who love the hobby and want something freely available for all to enjoy our favorite hobby.

Cheers,

Andrew Maitland

Alexander Augunas,

Sent you a PM, but can you contact me by email - help@pcgen.org. I fear the notification system doesn't work.

Okay, issue implemented. You'll see it in the next autobuild and next release of PCGen. If you need the fix sooner than tomorrow, email me direct: help@pcgen.org

Cheers,
Andrew

Yes, moving goal posts is a problem. Luckily, we're adaptable. As long as people raise an issue with us we can usually address it.

Hi folks,

One experienced PCGen data monkey as requested. I'm on limited time today, if you can send the particulars to my contact email - help@pcgen.org or drew0500@yahoo.com that'd be awesome.

I've done a fix for the Sheets we have, it will be in the next release.

@Vod Canockers, if you wouldn't mind making my job slightly easier and open a DATA BUG over at http://jira.pcgen.org that way I can communicate with you easier, and allows you to see progress on issues that matter to you. I don't normally monitor these forums.

Cheers,
Andrew Maitland (PCGen Admin Monkey, Data 2nd)

It's a display issue on the sheet. I'll look into limiting it to only two numbers after the decimal.

Looks like it was already resolved for 6.01.02, fast :).

I do try. I took care of that before I went to bed and caught up on sleep.

Thanks to David for filing this where we see it and will address it. And a nice link back so I could see the flurry.

A few issues that were brought up:

Kensai Weapon Prof Choice - I merged those together to alleviate the 'If he already has all Martial Profs by another class' freeze up.

Fixed the Martial Weapon Proficiency - Kensai no longer gets all Martial Weapon Profs.

Added the Initiative Boost (Went one step and made sure it won't give a negative if your intelligence drops for some reason below 10)

Added the Canny Defense, and applied the no Medium or Heavy Armor, or Shield and must be equipped with A weapon (Which is a distinction you pointed out).

Kensai now qualifies for the Focused Strike Feat and resulting chain you have.

I believe those were the issues brought up to me.

Cheers,

Hi Folks,

I poke my head in here in-frequently. However, I'd like to say I take exception to the 'lack of official support' for PCGen. I've been with the project since 2005. Anyone and everyone that jumps on our Yahoo Groups, Facebook Page, opens a Bug report, or emails me direct, is usually responded to promptly by myself or another person (If it's not within my purview). I also bend over backwards to make our users happy. If that means pushing out a book faster or getting a particular class up for them, then that is what I do. Gunslinger was a request of a few people awhile back. Sadly, we don't have early access to books, so we don't begin work on the books till after it's released.

As for the bugs, yes, we have our fair share of bugs. And if I could push perfect software, I'd be in heaven. Sadly, bugs come from all sorts of variables - java version changes, imperfect code, etc. However, aside from that, if you report a bug, I assure you all, that myself and our wonderful team of volunteers work to squash it dead. ;)

It's awesome to see Nylanfs in here. He does forward any concerns posted here and we address them as best we can. Pathfinder is a wonderful system. And I'm sure we can all agree, it's complicated to implement due to how much it needs to be able to do. I'm proud of the work we've managed to do to make it as easy as possible for Pathfinder users to use. I've heard some complaints, but if you don't give feedback, we can't improve there. I noted the adopted. I just learned about that myself and we've gone to correct that (Too many things with the same name sadly).

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to our loyal supporters. Without you, we wouldn't have anything to do in our spare time. If you have a a concern, suggestion or problem, hit me up. I'm always available to any of our users day and night (Though, if I'm sleeping or working, you won't see a quick reply).

You can email me direct, I believe this is my official pcgen email address - admin@pcgen.org

And since it's close enough, Merry Christmas.

Cheers,

Greetings. I don't often come over onto these boards, but the Magus Kensai Archetype has been fixed to work for your level 1. When my code team gets the updates in, you'll actually see the proper feats displayed. As it stands, you'll see it listed under your special qualities for now.

Cheers,
