Stephane Roux was born and raised in Marseilles, France. At the age of 19 he enlisted in the French Army and after scoring well in his basic training, was transferred to the 1st Marine Infantry Parachute Regiment in the French Army Special Forces Brigade (B.F.S.T). His unit specialization included time with CTLO (Counter-terrorism and hostage rescue teams) and GDC (Bodyguards Garde du Corps). He excelled in infiltration and during his last year with the R.P.I.Ma he spent most of his time working with the Direction Générale de la Sécurité Extérieure (DGSE). All these missions are classified and listed as Top Secret.
Once he was discharged he spent a few weeks in Marseille, but then soon dropped out of sight, only to reappear (we think) as the burglar La Roi in Spain. From there, he travelled to Italy, Germany and then was lost. Reappearing 6 months later in Hong Kong and traced to UCAS (Washington).
