"Something bad happened," she said, biting her lip nervously, forgetting in her anxiety that she was supposed to be ignoring Lang because he wasn't a firebird. "I know that look. My mom had that expression right before she told us that we had to leave home forever." Lang greets Ephebe with a bow, good to see you again. but he leaves her to have her word with Ignace.
As they start to leave, goodbye Ignace, I hope to see you again.
turning to Phaedra, I do hope everything will be alright. I remember I tried to at first stop the destruction of the sun. I took a trip there with Ignace and that was when I discovered how I helped in its creation. he says, forgetting that Phaedra has no idea about Lang's reincarnation thing.

Lang finally speaks up, Ignace, I'm sorry. I never meant to upset you. I hope we can still be friends, and we will see how thing develop in the future.
Turning to Ori, I hope you are doing well with your bonded spirit. Have you been doing the stress relief exercises I recommended?

Lang shows Gareth where everyone is. and makes some introductions. he offers Gareth some of his dinner.

Lang nudges Grim, whispering to him, Grim, be nice, he doesn't like water ok?
looking to Gareth, well, ok, you can play with us. My friend Sun says he has met you and he is with us. but we will be near the water but we won't go in. OK?
male human monk 16
Lang bows to Gareth, greetings, We can probably take a little time right now first. may I sit down and have a look at your book?
Lang waits for the invitation to sit. but he also continues, You can come and play with us as well.

Lang Gave an apologetic bow, I am sorry, Please lead the way.
turning to Chara, Why don't you go head and eat, I'll be by in a bit then we can play, I promise. Sun will keep you company.
looking to the rest, I am sorry, I'll be back shortly. Lang looks toward Ignace and looked like he was bout to say something but then changed his mind.
When Vis arrives, Hello Vis, I am Lang Fei, I will return in a bit. he says to vis as he bows to him.

You were all on your way to dinner before playtime. I think things got a little skewed with Grim at the cafeteria, I probably moved us out side after getting our meal to go eat.
I got a little lost myself actually so I went with ephebe's post but I think I mistook outside for actually being outside..
I think I am getting to the point I need one of those Dr. Who memory implant things so all these things can be downloaded directly to my brain so I will never forget.

I think Ignace and her new friend are also there but not sure on that.
Considring having Vis show up, but I'm not sure if that's disruptive.
Just figure Vis could stand to try being social for once. how old is Vis? we are a younger sort.
but go for it, Lang tries to be friends with almost everyone.

Ephebe wrote: "Thank you for agreeing to supervise. I would do it myself, but I always seem to get called away at inopportune moments to deal with some crisis or other."
"Well, it's not like I was doing anything other than research anyways. If you're sure you think that this is safe. I am on administrative leave because of my...issues."
"I'm sure it will be fine. Lang and Gareth are both mostly responsible children. It's really just a formality. Ah, here we are," Ephebe said as the two teachers approached the group of children just outside the cafeteria. "Lang, one of the two people I was looking for. You remember Professor Reading, I presume. She's going to be your faculty advisor on this project. Not that I won't also be there to help, but it seemed prudent to provide additional supervision considering. I did promise to introduce you to Gareth. He has a book that needs translating, and I think that if you can tap into your old memories, you have the key to doing just that."
sorry but took a little bit to decide what to say. and to look up Professor Reading.
Lang turned to the teachers. he bowed to them, Yes I remember her, I have been working to tame the spirit that was bound to her. Turning to Professor Reading, bowing to her as well, I hope that what I suggested has been working, I am afraid I have not been around to help you with the next step.
Looking back to Ephebe, Master, could I please play with Chara for just a little bit? maybe you could have Gareth meet us out here in the garden. I am sure he would love to meet everyone.

Phaedra made a face like someone who had just bitten into a lemon. "I do not require your pity," she said stiffly.
Ignace rolled her eyes. "Phaedra is having some trouble adjusting to life on the surface. It's easier for Chara and I because we never lived on the sun among the other firebirds. You can't miss what you never had. Her family were strict segregationists and she is still learning how to accept others as equals," she said sweetly but with a pointed glare at Phaedra.
Phaedra crossed her arms and pouted. Lang just smiled. Its ok. It will take time, I am sure we can all be friends eventually.
When grim shows up....
Hey grim, this is Phaedra, she is a firebird from the sun. We were all going to go outside to eat then Chara wants to play some games. you want to join us?
male human monk 16
Lang holds Chara in place, glancing up as she tells about the boys. she did huh? well, I'm glad everything and everyone is ok. he says, almost wishing he was there for her.
looking to Ignace as they walked. Yes, the ceremony went well. I... he starts to say something else, then stops perhaps this is not the time.
Lets go have some fun this afternoon. and looking to Phaedra It's ok to smile, I know a lot more than you think about firebirds. and you just may find that some of us non-firebirds can be good friends.

Lang then turns back to Ignace, I am sorry about before, I have missed your company. Lang says as he walks with them to the Cafeteria.
He offers a hand to Chara, even offering to let her ride on Lang's shoulders if she wants.

Lang smiles at Ignace's acceptance. would you like to introduce me to your friend? he asks hoping to make a pleasant conversation and ease Ignace's anxiety a little.

Lang paused as she walked by. Ahh, hello, Ignace. he smiled as she walked by.
wait, Do you and your friend want to join us for dinner in the garden? Chara and I with Sun and maybe Sara are going play a game later. I would like for you to join us.
Lang tries to be polite as possible and welcoming. He looks toward Ignace's new friend a bit hoping for an introduction.
