The troll on the gatehouse just sparked my imagination to much to ignore.

When Zakon was boasting about his cleaning spell and before the troll and the gate house, Lady Eleanor slyly creates some fresh water to wash the mud off her armor and equipment.

When Zakon is looking the other direction she "accidentally" splashes about a cup full on his back as well. When he looks back she pretends as if nothing happened. Then pretending as if she is talking quietly, but in reality being plenty loud, Create Water, such a fun spell to cast.

As Lady Eleanor continues to trudge trough the swamp land, she smiles at Zakon's question. Laughing a bit she say, I have never considered myself much of a fighter. I can fight if I have to but I would much rather mend wounds than make them.

When the gatehouse comes in sight, Lady Eleanor smiles and takes stock of her companions. If we could not talk reason into the mob back in town, I doubt they will listen to reason here. We can hope that they will be intimidated. Let's ask this troll if he has seen Andrew.

Walking up to the gatehouse Lady Eleanor looks up and smiles at the troll. Thats a fine cigar you have there. Did you roll it yourself or is there a place to buy those nearby?

Waiting until after the troll's response.

survival: 1d20 ⇒ 16 Being in the swamp was not too bothersome to the Paladin. Once she got a hang of where to not step. Sometimes it felt as if her steps were guided more by luck than by skill. There was something about this swamp that felt fresh, not the smell, not the mud. Thinking about it, Lady Eleanor came to the conclusion that it was the lack of suffering. The last few days in town came with a feeling of unease and palid oppresion.

Lady Eleanor is careful with her steps. A slip into deeper mud would be hard to extricate herself from. As the others continue to walk, she makes her way closer to Gaarm. When she thinks she is out of ear shot of the others she asks him.

Gaarm:
So, this woman. Who is she? And what was this gift? She seemed awfully possessive, hit me back with quite the force.

Lady Eleanor leans in near Gaarm and says We will talk about this later. Still wincing from the pain of the backlash.

A little louder and to the group Lady Eleanor suggests, Lets make our way to the castle, see what's going on there.

She shrugs to re adjust the weight of her gear before looking down at her claws and sighing. After waiting a half moment for her companions to set themselves, she steps off toward the castle.

A look of shock and horror comes over Lady Eleanor's face. Gaarm, what gift did you accept. Who is She?

I was a little reluctant to take remove curse as a spell known, but then I thought about it. Curses fit into the theme of this AP quite a bit, and it really fits into Eleanor's theme of relieving suffering. Plus, if she had a choice in the matter (I'm not sure if she really does, her power is more bequeathed then studied) she would want to help her long injured party member.

Lady Eleanor takes Gaarm to the side, placing her hand on his scars she says I think I have been blessed further by the Empyreal Lords. They must know that the way ahead contains further troubles. I believe they have blessed me with the ability to lift this curse that is affecting you.

Lady Eleanor says a quick prayer any touches the scar tissue. CL check for Remove Curse: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23

A surge of holy energy flows out of her hands, more than she expected. She lifts her hands to see that the scars......
