Reactionary:You were bullied often as a child, but never quite developed an offensive response. Instead, you became adept at anticipating sudden attacks and reacting to danger quickly.

Benefit: You gain a +2 trait bonus on Initiative checks.

Background:

The daughter of two of the Knights of the Sword and Sickle, Kyrra was born to roam the Ashwood, the overgrown paths as much a home to her as the open fields were to other children of Biston. She learned to love the natural world, embracing the beauty of the wilderness while appreciating the village that her parents and their brethren protected, in most cases, without their knowledge.

A sortie deep into the forest to deal with what was thought to be an isolated group of wildcat attacks taught her the darkness within the forest as well. The caught unprepared by the marauding werewolf pack that was actually responsible, both her parents were amongst the casualties in the brutal assault.

The night that the lone survivor came deliriously staggering into the group base camp to tell the grisly story, that was the night that Kyrra Darkstalker was born.

The young woman turned her loss and pain into determination, a determination to protect the innocent and unsuspecting from the dark things that lived in the natural world. She would become the person who hunted the things that hunt in the night, making sure that no child would have to endure what she did.

Training hard with the older knights who took her on as a sort of tribal daughter, she has come to embody both their code and their deadly skill.

Personality:

Her natural predatory energy is offset by her prefernce for silence and her tendency to avoid engaging others when not necessessary, opting to observe rather than interact when around strangers.

Description:

Kyrra Darkstalker (swap the shield with a sickle)

Tall, strong and fiercely attractive, Kyrra posesses an untamed intensity that reminds one of a wildcat. Beautiful to view from a distance, but unnerving up close.

Every part of her seems a natural extension of the wilderness she loves, a human who is more a part of the atural world than the hamlet she so dutifully protects.
