![]() Sorry I irritated you Seelah. I didn’t see it as out of nowhere - the guy just admitted to doing some seriously evil stuff. As a cleric of a good deity, who just got done laying a smack down on this guy’s muscle and was already not in any way impressed with this guy, it seemed absolutely in character to abandon trying to pretend like everything was going to be fine, even if it was working. Kyra would have zero sympathy for a ranting child who had a poor old man kidnapped rather than just going to him and asking, and having been almost killed by his ogre she would be in no mood to pretend any longer when he just straight up admits his crimes with no remorse. ![]()

![]() Sorry guys, I just can't see Kyra just standing here listening to this boy admit to crimes and trying to act kind to him. At this, Kyra stands, draws forth her scimitar, and gives her fiercest scowl. "Well then, Haanar, you have engaged in criminal activities, inciting the use of an evil ogre in the assault and kidnapping of a member of this community. We have put down your pet ogre, and I expect you to lay down any weapons you may have and surrender yourself to our care to be returned to the village. If it were up to me, I would put you down myself here and now, but the grandfather here seems to have a soft spot for you despite your petty cruelty. Perhaps he may yet show you mercy and allow you to try to earn your way back into proper society. Should you refuse, we will meet out justice here and now. The choice is yours. Intimidate to coerce him to surrender, untrained: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22 ![]()

![]() Kyra tried, she really did. She held her tongue as this man-child griped about the truth of his birth. His birth? Seriously? Was this mewling thing behind the ogre attack somehow? Did he task the ogre to bring the poor sage out here, instead of just going to the man and asking him? All this was running through her brain as the others tried to convince this boy to not bring about violence on undeserving people simply for the sake of some knowledge. She opened her mouth to try to help them with their efforts; she tried to reason with this boy and tell him how it was OK to not be a bad guy, but her attempts fell pathetically flat. Diplomacy Aid: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9 Through each word, her contempt for him somehow shown through. She said the words, but in her heart she did not believe them. She only hoped that the child in front of them was too distracted by the others to notice. ![]()

![]() Kyra slowly stands back up, holding the savage cut to her side from that damn ogre's wicked blade. "Bloody bastard" she mutters, as she slowly limps around him and closer to Lazino. She gives a grim nod particularly to Seelah as she passes, and then begins to motion everyone closer to her and Lazino. "Gather around, anyone that got hurt, I'll give us some healing to get moving again." Once everyone is within 30 feet of her, she'll mutter a quick prayer under her breath. When she finishes, everyone feels a gentle breeze flowing around them, seeming to go in little circles around the group, and all their wounds close up a little. Channel: 1d8 ⇒ 3 "If you'll give me a few minutes, I don't have many spells left but I still need to see to my more serious wounds here." Kyra takes out her medical pack and begins to dress her own wounds. Medicine: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22

![]() Kyra looks shocked as the ogre not only lands a solid blow, but also sends her falling flat on her rear. Then, to add insult to injury, the clumsy goblin hits her with some of his thrown fire! "Fumbus! What the hell, man!" she yells, as she shakes off the remains of the fire. She stands up, and casts a quick heal spell, touching her own nasty wounds. One action to stand, two actions to cast the stronger heal spell

![]() Kyra gives Seelah a sidelong glance with a raised eyebrow. "Talk to ogres? Seriously?" she whispers, shaking her head slightly. Before she can say anything more, the less than graceful motions of her companions make the question a moot one. With a sigh, she quickly moves closer to the ogre. She then raises her hand toward the beast and sends forth a blaze of fire. 1 action to move and 2 actions to use Fire Ray

![]() Kyra follows behind the surprisingly loud Fumbus, not particularly trying to hide herself but not tripping over herself either. She had never felt the need to hide herself from her opponents, and worried that they might not have time to be sneaking around. Not trained in stealth, apparently, but we don't seem to need an abundance of that here. Following Fumbus, but staying back behind him. ![]()

![]() All our aliases are still new (and thus able to be renamed), and all of us chose different ways of unique-ifying our alias names. What do you guys think about settling on one format and all renaming to use that? Makes it a bit easier to find/remember actual character names if they all follow the same pattern. So far we have these three patterns:
Not renaming is fine if nobody else cares, and if we do want to I don't really care which we do. Any thoughts? ![]()

In case you are unfamiliar, dotting is where you make a small post in the gameplay thread (often just a single period, hence ‘dotting’), and then you immediately delete said post.
