Kurnak stems from an unusual liason between an orcish sailor and a noblewoman from Absalom. The lady, whose name Kurnak never learned as he was given to an orphanage directly after birth, was in her rebellious youth when she let herself in with a rather exotic but strangely attractive humanoid who hailed from a tribe of desert dwelling Thuvian orcs.
The orphanage was run by a kind pair of gnomes by the names Halifax and Hifflescuff. The other kids of his turf were not so nice to him however and he constantly suffered under their racist comments.
His last name Sourtooth he earned himself when he won at a lemon eating contest that arose from a foul bet.
Later, when his orcish blood let him grow up and mature much faster than his peers, he had an easier time around them. However his gnomish foster parents did well in not letting him develop into a bully himself by giving him from early on an understanding of the teachings of the Starsong, Desna.
His sturdy build suited him well in becoming a warpriest.
Black eyes and hair color, bronze toned skin and a towering appearance. A prominent blue tattoo adorns his face. Very bad language and the habit of making direct and often unfitting comments make it difficult for others to connect with him. He usually gets away with it...
Under the hard shell is a very soft core, though and a few can tell the story of a half-orc moved to tears by a touching story. They usually prefer to not tell the story...
