Sure!

Fortitude: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6

Welp. At least the penalties start next round.

Uryu continues his assualt, his clear gauntlets wailing against the mecha.

Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18

Toughness DC 22

Expecting hard metal, Uryu pulls back in surprise when he feels the outside of the mech. Rather than cease, however, he relentlessly continues.

Bringing his hands together, Uryu slams his guantlets into his foe.

Power Attack, going to take a -3 for a +3 to effectiveness

Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25

That is a crit threat, as well

Toughness DC 25

Uryu quickly begins to sweat, fashioning it into spiked guantlets on his hands. Moving upwards, he swings his fists at the mecha. "Try this, bolt-brain!"

Activating my protection, then making an attack.

Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19

DC 22 toughness

Init: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (10) + 13 = 23

Uryu takes a combat stance, similar to a boxer.

"Judging from your goggles, definitely sonic." Uryu responds, wincing in pain. "But we can't figure anything out here. We have to get closer... somehow."

Uryu nods. "By fashioning it so that the bottom of the skis are turning back to liquid, and the sweat dripping back down on top hardens, the skis never lose any mass and I retain more of a smooth surface. By also fashioning my sweat into a rope... well, I suppose its more like an iron bar, but anyway. I can connect myself to you, and not lose much speed to friction. What do you think?"

Approaching from the north, Uryu gives a cool whistle. "Really pulled out all the stops on this one. Still, nothing too out of the ordinary. Regardless, its an urban environment. A little on the dark end, but still."

He turns to Neon. "You could get to the center no problem, but unfortunately, I have to get there too. And we're up against teams that can get there rather quickly. So..." He trails off, as his arms begin to drip liquid. "We'll have to be a little more smart about this."

"How much can you carry... or drag without losing much speed?"

We could also vote CICADA in.

Uryu pays little attention in class, clearly uninterested in most of the subjects. He perks up during history, even taking a few notes, but afterwards grows bored again.

Showing up in his costume the next day, he eagerly inspects the material, content with its ability to absorb liquids. And, hopefully, it won't stain either. On the other hand, though, it was not built for much cold weather. I'll have to think about that... if it starts snowing, I'm in for a bad time.

Hearing Neon speak up, Uryu gives a nod. "Let's do it, then."

Sure! I think we'll be a good duo.

"Alright, guess I'm up.

Uryu makes his way to the starting line, and on the signal, makes a sprint. He runs around as fast as a normally fit person, but when he finishes, he is covered in layers of sweat, as if he had been running for hours.

"Sorry. That usually happens."

Not sure how fast Lifehack can run, so I'll leave out who wins for later.

Uryu turns to Shu. "My quirk doesn't do much for my speed... maybe we could pair up?"

Dang. I mean, according to wikipedia, the fastest Jai Alai throw was 188 mph. That's... 2 to 3 times that.

Also, hey, fun facts.

Uryu steps up, but doesn't pick up the ball quite yet. He seems to concentrate for a moment, and suddenly sweat appears on his skin. And simply does not stop. A visible puddle appears below him as tides of liquid drip from him.

The liquid seems to stick to his right hand, piling on top of itself, becoming a solid glove with a distinct bend. It's a Jai alai glove The material of it is perfectly clear, similar to that of glass.

With a bit of a windup, Uryu uses the glove to launch the ball into the air. With his own physical strength behind it, it goes decently far.

"Could be you still have to 'run' even made of light. Or maybe it's just a mental thing. Like you think that your legs should get cramped, so they do."

Uryu shrugs. "Or maybe your power is something different entirely. Its quite hard to tell."

Uryu nods. "That's quite a useful power, I must say. A lot better than some I can think of. As for my own," He smiles, "You'll have to see it out there."

Uryu stifles a laugh. "That's pretty sweat. I mean, sweet. Ugh." He slams his head on his desk, embarrassed.

Uryu simply puts Uryu on the seat plan, before passing it to the next person.

I'm imagining the teacher as Owen Wilson, and refuse to take any other description :)

In the classroom, Uryu makes his way to the back, but closest as he can to the door, and finds a desk there.

Uryu walks up to the gate, before noticing the group and walking up to them instead. "Hey, how are you all doing? Quite the place, isn't it?". He quickly produces a handkerchief from his pocket, wiping his brow. "I am a little nervous... just a bit. Or maybe it's just hot."

In response to Cicada, he notes "Who the hell was that?"

Uryu's inspiration was Cotton Metal, a hero with the Quirk to magnetize organic materials. Uryu was fascinated by the hero's use of simple materials to amplify his powers, and appreciated his more hard-headed sense of justice, capturing criminals both big and small. Uryu even enjoyed the man's extra happy catch phrase - "See Good. Do Good. Be Good."

Hey y'all! Good to be joining in.

For the costume, Uryu's would likely have to be either "open," or absorbing liquids rather well (Paper Towel Man, Go!).

I'm thinking a sleeveless black jacket with vertical blue stripes, removable by a zipper down the middle. For the sake of decency, coupled with long pants that stick close to the legs, with multiple layers to keep liquid from escaping. The costume would also have a face mask, connected to a water tank on the back, to ensure Uryu does not become dehydrated from his own power use.
