Male Human Rogue (Acrobat)
Klick's head swivels around at the crashing sound. "You should always let me check the doors first...", then he spots the monstrosity. 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23 Imitative 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (6) + 10 = 16 Acrobatics. If necessary Klick will delay till he can see clear to move into a flanking position. 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22 Flanking Short Sword Attack

"Some lover letter from a Fredrick or something like that". "Let's try to find another way to go". Are there any entrances or doors we have missed? If so I'll take 20 and follow my way back as we go

Klick will check just to be sure. "It's always the door you don't check that gets you killed...:-). Lets just assume going forward that anytime a door needs to be checked, Klick will take 20 to check it for a total of 24. It takes 2-minutes to do so, but unless we are in a hurry for some reason...ie running away...that shouldn't be an issue. That way we can all post for opening doors etc, without waiting for me to check the boards.

Klick takes the time to check both chests before opening. 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8 Perception 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14 Perception "Well if they were going to trap these things they'd probably lock them as well". Klick opens the chests and lays out the contents, taking particular note of the leather bag. Does he recognize the symbol. He will take a look inside the bag.

Before Nik'o can open the door, Klick steps forward and puts a hand on the mans shoulder. "Just a minute there". "Let me see if anyone has rigged this door with a trap of some sort, before we go blundering in". "I'm still a bit wary about what is going on here". 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18 Perception
Male Human Rogue (Acrobat)
Klick takes a moment to quickly frisk the bodies for anything else they might be carrying, before calling the others over. 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23 Perception
"Hey look what I found"! If the armor looks like it would fit him, Klick begins to strip one of the corpses, first making sure to take the shortsword, sheath, and belt. Sorry Klick doesn't know the others yet, so is in self preservation mode :-) 1d20 ⇒ 4 Heal check (To determine if/how they died)

Hmm. Somehow my post disappeared. I rolled a 21 on my perception check Klick looks up from investigating the papers, and notices an inconsistency in the opposite wall. Rising he walks over to the area, and investigates it more closely. "There seems to be an opening of some sort concealed here". "Please stand aside as I attempt to open it". "Sometimes if people go to the trouble to conceal things...they also might ward the opening somehow". Wow. How did I forget to take Disable Device. Oh well next level :-) 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21 Perception 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15 Knoweldge Engineering. Would the DM be so kind as to let me move a skill point into Disable Device, since I missed it somehow at creation. I'll move the point from something I haven't used yet. If not I'll wait till level 2. Not a big deal

Realizing that everyone here seems to be in the same predicament Klick lowers his guard a bit, and tries to find something to cushion the shard of glass in his hand. If he finds nothing he will remove his shirt, using it to make a wrap for the sharp object. "I'm called Klick". Then looking at the girl who spoke to him..."What do you mean we're on a ship or something". "How do you know that"?

1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10 Perception As Klick's lethargy began to wear off, he suddenly remembered the falling, and his heart lurched into his throat. Where was he? Was he dead? Who were these other people?...Other People! Klick back-flipped to his feet, and hastily looked around for something to use as a weapon. Nothing seemed to be here but the shards of glass. Taking up a long shard in his hand he backed into a corner keeping a wary eye on the other folks here. "Stay Back". "All of you". "Who are you and where are we"? The others see a smallish wiry individual with thick black hair, and brown eyes. He has several days stubble of dark beard, and seems to move with an almost unearthly grace as he backs away". Klick also looks around for a quick means of escape. 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6 Perception |
