Kiralinsee's page

Kiralinsee continues to randomly move throughout the room, picking up the occasional object here and there. Eventually she spots a small statue in the corner of the room. It seems to have been neglected for quite some time, as if forgotten.
"Hmmm, what do we have here?"
She picks up the small onyx statue and examines it carefully. It depicts a shadowy draconic figure with gold eyes.
"I'll take this, I think."
she says raising the statue.

Same with me

Kiralinsee mills about the chamber going from priceless item to priceless item. She casually picks up a few of the rarer looking ones to examine them closer.

Kiralinsee is fine with whatever. Tho moving forward would prolly be best.

Kiralinsee seems to be daydreaming and barely acknowledges the presence of the troll. Although she does manage a chuckle in response to Quayne's attempts at diplomacy. As he bursts into flames she offers a distracted "Nice spell Ulvak, pity there was only one" before returning to her thoughts. At night she will split her time between sleeping and wandering off on her own. With no one noticing until after she's already gone of course. But she'll always be back before it's time to set off again.

Kiralinsee is ready to move on as well

Kiralinsee giggles
"Ah Raeli, I'm afraid it's not like that at all. The ring just only works for mortal humanoids. Unfortunately for Raderol, he doesn't fit the bill."

"Don't worry Ulvak, he's telling the truth.
Kiralinsee says offhandedly then pauses for a moment.
"Raderol, would you mind clarifying the circumstances of Consial's death a bit more? Do you know the demon's name and what exactly was this 'run in' she had"?

Just as the silence starts to become uncomfortable Kiralinsee shrugs and lets out a sigh. She slowly shakes her head
"Well this is boring. Ah well, I suppose there's no helping it, then."
As Kiralinsee talks, everyone gets a bit of a prickly feeling at the back of their necks but they all just shake it off and don't give it a second thought

Just as a clarification. First statement is said out loud, second one isn't. Raderol gets both messages and knows he's the only one who got the second one. No one else notices anything out of the ordinary

Kiralinsee sighs
"Well it's a good thing we're just looking to make fun of Raderol and aren't looking for answers or anything."

Kiralinsee laughs and gently shakes her head in response to Quayne. Then says in a playful tone
Silly Quayne! Leave it to a conjurer to try to take the magic out of magic! When will you wizards learn? Magic is boring if you already know whats going to happen and even worse so if you know how. Your job is to make sparkly things happen for the rest of us to ohh and ahh at, not give a science lecture.
She sits on the ground and pulls out a bag of popcorn.
Now, lets get this show started!

@Lordjimbo: It's all good

Don't mind spoilers being read. So right now, I think we're waiting on Ulvak to actually make the wish or for Raeli to tell him to make the wish. I'm assuming that's why you haven't posted answers Lordjimbo, right?

After the captain leaves, Kiralinsee walks up to Ulvak.
"Well it's prolly for the best. Really they would be in more danger with you all than without. After all it's the gem and the ring that might be dangerous, not a bunch of dead guys' stuff."
Kiralinsee pauses a moment than continues
"But as far as all that goes, I'm still a bit confused. Raderol obviously wasn't working for the Darkblades on this job for multiple reasons. First and most importantly he failed. Second, he was alone, but not for the sake of stealth. The drake couldn't have been a member because she wouldn't have run away so easily and the job was very messy. With proper resources and planning it should have been almost impossible to track him down. Third, Raderol knew we were onto him and didn't call for backup, but instead weaved back and forth as if he were trying to lose us."
Brief pause to gather herself
"So what was he up to? What was so important that he was willing to go outside the organization? And why didn't he use the ring once he got it?"
She turns and starts to walk away. Then suddenly turns back and adds "Oh and you should prolly try asking nicely, threats are meaningless to guys like him"

Kiralinsee appears to have been deeply considering something for the last few minutes. She shakes her head and sighs.

Kiralinsee wanders off at some point in the night after Raeli goes to sleep. She returns unnoticed (see note below) in the midst of the groups conversation.
Hmmm... I'm not too sure about all of this. The Darkblades are brutally efficient. If it was their desire to have the ring, why were you all able to take it so easily? I don't doubt that Raderol works for the Darkblades, he certainly fits the bill, but did he actually say stealing the ring was a mission from them? Maybe Raderol has desires of his own? "

Note: Yes that's a bit creepy what with you all being so perceptive and all, but she sneaked up on you all. She's a creepy little girl, these things happen.

Hey, sorry for my absence. I kept meaning to post but was having a hard time thinking of something to say so I kept putting it off. And then the last days have been kinda weird for me, but anyway...

Kiralinsee catches the brush deftly in her hands. She starts humming and sets about brushing the noble steed with an unnatural grace. After she finishes the areas she can reach she gives Karmel a hug. "There you go Karmy, Raeli will get your back and then we'll be ready for some rest. Karmel nudges Kiralinsee gently with her nose. Kiralinsee responds by tilting her head to the side to think "Hmmm... what could you want?" Kiralinsee snaps her fingers "Ah I know!" She reaches into her bag and produces a apple."Here you go"

Kiralinsee then notices that both Missy and Gartha are giving her a look. "Well I suppose what's fair is fair." She reaches back in her bag and pulls out a dog biscuit and tosses it to Missy. Then a glass container of blueberries. She puts a few out on the ground for Gartha. "There, everyone satisfied?"

Noticing Vaelins looks a bit unsettled, she'll walk over to him "Don't worry Vaelins. No mere prophesy could ever hold someone like you back"

After Raeli is done grooming

"Better? I made it myself."

Kiralinsee nods enthusiastically and gives Quayne a thumbs-up. "Now that's more like it. You're story certainly seems more plausible to me now. At the very least, you know what a pirate looks like. I suppose a treasure map was a bit too much to hope for though. Oh well, maybe your mother has one or knows about one. We should definitely make finding her a priority. And if anyone gets in our way, we'll just make them walk the plank."

Then as Quayne turns to Ulvak, Kiralinsee walks over to Raeli. "Can I help?" she asks eagerly.

As Quayne tells his story Kiralinsee walks around him, carefully studying the conjuror. When Quayne finishes she pauses and looks perplexed as if thinking hard about something.
"Hmmm... a pirate you say? You don't seem like much of a pirate. Where's your eye-patch? or your peg-leg? or your hook-hand? Everyone knows a good pirate is missing at least one body part. Also who ever heard of a pirate wearing robes? And for that matter you're way too well groomed to be a pirate. Nothing about you gives off the air of unkempt. You should be filthy and have at least a couple sores. And who ever heard of a pirate with a raven? You need a parrot. You also have way too large a vocabulary for a pirate while lacking key pirate phrases like 'argh' and 'yo-ho-ho'. Nope, sorry Quayne but your story is just too far-fetched. Maybe if you had some sorta treasure map or something.

Kiralinsee gets up and straightens out her dress at Raeli's call.
"C'mon Missy, It appears the others are about ready to be off. Don't worry we'll have plenty of time to play later"
She pats Missy on the head and calls over to Raeli
"Coming Raeli"
She skips over to the group with Missy close behind.
"Agreed on a destination have we?"

Kira thanks Quayne for the money and skips off to the side with Missy.
"C'mon Missy lets see if we can't find something entertaining to do, while the grownups work"

Kiralinsee runs over to Raeli and gives her a hug.
"Don't worry Raeli, he's not so much dead as he is greatly diminished. Turns out "Thunder Jinn" isn't just a title, he actually is a thunder jinn. You can still talk to him telepathically through the gem if you have some questions you'd like answered."

Kiralinsee notices that Ulvak is wincing a bit.
Oh Ulvak, It looks like you're hurt. Perhaps we should take care of that before we worry about what happens to the dead? I'd hate to be without your abilities should we be ambushed and they go after you. Broken toys are no fun to play with after all.

Kiralinsee will only take 4pp for small expenses like candy and such. So every one else can split the remaining 36 of her share. I'm also fine with holding onto the potion since it will be easier for me to give it to anyone else that needs it in battle. That is if Ulvak has another way to get healed right now. I believe he's currently got 14 damage on him.

@Quayne: 9 rounds aye? Cool stuff. Sorry about that. :)

@Elora: Yay! I was also afraid we might have lost you. Drop in whenever you like.

The game concludes and Kiralinsee says goodbye and hugs each of the elementals. The elementals go back to their home plane.
If Quayne was paying attention, he might noticed that his summon lasted much longer than it should have. Like 5 minutes vs 6 rounds.
She walks over to the rest of the group as they are discussing what to do with the possessions of the Vedics.
"Rocky and friends needed to go home."
Kiralinsee notices the gem in Quayne's hands
"I see you killed him. Ah well, it's prolly for the best. Now we don't have to worry about him and if we run into Raeli again she can still ask her questions. I miss Raeli. I wonder what she's gotten herself into. Anyway, what next guys?"

"Ok Quayne. Just call if you need anything."
The elementals follow Kiralinsee over a bit to the side. Kiralinsee then begins to give some instructions to the elementals.
If your character is paying attention they will notice that she is speaking in common, but the elementals none the less seem to understand her.

Assuming the previous post is ok with everyone and things go according to plan

Noticing that the fighting is over, at least for now, Kiralinsee folds up her drawings and puts them away.
Well that went quicker than expected. I hope Raeli isn't too cross at us for finishing without her. Ah well, I'm sure there will be plenty enough for everyone before our journey is over. I do hope she catches up to us soon though. I have a feeling she has some questions of her own for this guy.
Kiralinsee pauses for a second as if she's just remembered something and says.
Oh and Vaelins you started talking gibberish again for a second there.

Since it looks like we are pretty tied to it going down this way Kiralinsee will string Raderol's stun a second round as long as that's ok with everyone.

Quickly reading her companions intentions Kiralinsee realizes that Raderol will gain his composure too quickly for it to work smoothly. Just as Raderol starts to pull it all back together, there is a second flash before his eyes that only he can see. No one else notices anything.

Raderol is stunned one extra round.

Kiralinsee looks up from her drawings and notes the arrival of the drake.

"Well aren't you a pretty little thing? I suppose it would be too much to ask everyone to stop fighting so you could do a cool pose for me to draw. (sigh)"

She shrugs and goes back to drawing. And as the earth elementals appear

"Oh look, Rocky brought some friends. Hmmm, you all look the same, how am I going to tell you all apart? Ahhh, I know"

Suddenly the right elemental turns black and the left one turns red

"There we go, that's better. She points to the black elemental "I'll call you Rocky 2" then points to the red one "and you George"

She then goes back to drawing and starts humming a slightly different tune. This one is called "Rocky's Battle Theme"

All three elementals gain +1 to damage as long as she continues humming. This happens before they start their attack.

And in case anyone is worried about how the elementals feel about the color change, each has always secretly wished to be their new color.

Kiralinsee spots the movement in the ground.
"Ok Vaeli, have fun. I'm gonna sit over there and draw."
She starts to move over a bit to the side and pull out a pad and pencil. Midway through the action she pauses and says offhandedly
"Just be careful not to die guys, finding interesting people to travel with is harder than you'd think."
She then sits down and starts to draw. She also begins humming a tune she has titled "Rocky's Theme song"
Kiralinsee really wants to see Quayne succeed on his Summon Monster III spell. +4 to his concentration check until the spell is cast. Quayne doesn't notice anything weird though, he just thinks he's in the zone

oh goody, does this mean you're gonna summon Rocky? I like Rocky, he's so much fun. I just wish he didn't always forget me. It's such a pain having to introduce myself every time.
Rocky being what Kiralinsee calls Quayne's earth elemental. Apparently she thinks it's the same one every time.

Raeli's party setup works for me too.

As far as I'm concerned, Kiralinsee would be a welcome addition to whatever party Raeli ends up in :). I think she'll add an interesting dimension to the game.

Why thank-you. Kiralinsee feels exactly the same about Raeli.

Personally I'd like to play a game involving Karrnath and King Kaius. I also think anything heavily involving The Twelve would be pretty cool. But really I'm up for anything. I like everything I've seen about everyone's characters, so I want to play with everyone, but I completely understand why that just isn't feasible. I also understand that my character might not really be a lot of people's cup of tea, so feel free to say if you don't want to play with her. I promise I won't be offended.
