Have the character name their deeds.

I am Harrak, mighty sorcerer. I have felled dragons, delved ancient temples on Mechanus, and turned aside orcish invasions with the might of my arcane prowess. Mere journeymen of the arts such as yourselves would be best off not counting me as a foe.

Minor necro.

I was kinda hoping an errata which would rule the Totem Warrior would just not receive Weapon Proficiencies in exchange for not being limited to one type of totem.

So, since they follow the rules for using an alchemical item in melee, do not use attack rolls, and cannot be used for attacks of opportunity, why are they listed under weapons?

The question is, IF I am level 1, and only get level 1 formulae, but I have level 2 spell in my formulae book...

Quoting from the Brew Potion feat:

When you create a potion, you set the caster level, which must be sufficient to cast the spell in question and no higher than your own level.

I read in Ultimate Combat that the poisoned sand tube hits all targets in a 15' cone. If the tube automatically hits all its targets in the area, and the effect is a saving throw, why is the item considered a weapon?

Additionally, what could prevent a character from using the item if they are not proficient with martial weapons, and what would the penalty be for not being proficient in the use of the poisoned sand tube?

Edit: Spelling and formatting.
