Born of tryst between an elven maiden and a human woodsman, killian has had a troubled life. Never having known his father, he was raised in Kyonin by his mother and schooled in the magical arts, though he proved to be an indiffernt student. Though he lived in comfort, his soul was not at peace in Kyonin. During his travels, Killian met many people and visited many lands, but he never found a true home. The happiest he has been was his time with the professor. It was the professor that first showed him how to combine blade and spell. As Killian learned the technique of the Magus, he found the 2 halves of his soul dancing in unison, a deadly storm of steel and magic. Now the one man most like a father to him is dead, and Killian must travel to Ustalav, a country know for their mistrust of strangers, especially those of questionable heritage.

Long pointed ears, grey eyes with hints of blue, and angled facial features give away Killians elven eharitage. His broad shoulders, earth brown hair, and his temper are the gifts of his fathers blood.

While most elven children learned music and dance, Killian practiced with his sword, venting his anger and frustration.
For a time, Killian traveled with a group of Scarnzi. One night they were attacked by some undead creatures. The slaughter would have been complete, had Killian not barely escaped on horseback. Covered in blood and exhausted from riding through the night, he collapses at the city gate as dawn broke. The guards, mistrustful of his clearly mixed blood, believed him to be a murderer and imprisoned him in the stocks. The proferssor was responsible for clearing his name, and in exchange Killian traveled with him, telling him all he knew of the attack and the creatures of the night. It was the professor that first taught him that his elven magic and sword stlye could be blended into a new technique.
