Background:
Born of the southern deserts of Osirion, Ki'dhir is a child of sand, wind, and unrelenting heat. His attitude and personality have been shaped by that uncompromising and implacable land in addition to his nomadic people (Yerbira). Ki'dhir grew up stalking the dunes and defending his small tribe (Class: Ranger) from the ever-present predators: competing tribes, gnolls, giant scorpions, efreet, undead, and sandstorms that etch flesh from bone.
When the tribe isn’t gathering resources, they are frequent visitors to Wati and her surrounding villages where the Yerbira trade for goods and resupply. It is practically a second home for Ki’dhir and the tribe (Trait: Wati Native), they know its back alleys and people as well as any native.
Ki’dhir visits the tribe often – to catch up, share their holy days, and provide additional income. Searching for rare resources to trade keeps the tribe fed. But the profit margin is far higher for Ki’dhir who sells his services as a guide to keep the silly, treasure-seeking outlanders from getting lost and dying in the desert while they search for their trinkets.
Appearance:
NG Male Human Garundi
Age: 22 (Adult)
Size: Med, 5'11", 175 lbs
Ki'dhir is a powerfully built (STR:20) dark-skinned Garundi man who conceals his well-tended lamellar armor beneath tan desert robes and a brown ground-sweeping bisht (outer-cloak). A leather bandolier crosses his chest and a red sash is wrapped around his waist. Complementing it, a red and black checkered keffiyeh (head covering/scarf) loops loosely several times around his shoulders, neck, and head. A well-worn but surprisingly sharp falchion and a powerfully built bow are his constant companions – one over each shoulder. Silently dogging his heels, is a man-sized Sand Panther whose short fur is mottled in shades of light gold to medium brown, allowing her to blend into the desert.
