Personality:
A traditionalist Khaldrun considers everyone to be just a little beneath him, and believes that Osirion should, and will eventually regain its ascendency over the lesser nations. He believes in manners, and that nobility, is an important compact that comes with responsibilities. To those who earn his respect, which requires some doing he is respectful, but frquently challenging. To his lessers, most people in his opinion, he is unfailingly polite, but often a touch condescending.

Appearance:
A gaunt man with sharp features, a neatly trimmed black goatee and a dark bronze skin. When he is not thinking about it he moves his head constantly eyes darting as if trying to catalogue everything around him. He wears a curious tatoo upon his right cheek stretching up and around his eye, intricate and beautiful it is sometimes hard to see as it is rendered in curious gold and silver inks.

Backstory:
Born to the House of Stole Sunsets, an Osirian family that claimed to share its blood with the original Pharoahs, Khaldon as per family tradition was given over to be raised by an expert. As the third born Khaldon was to study Wizardry, while his older brothers learned the ways of war and finance respectively.

So at three years old he was handed over to an elven Wizard, Lanriel Geladoran. Lanriel over saw his formative years, a strict disciplinarian who showed little love for his charge, but demanded great things. He saw little of his family, and when he did it was in formal settings where tradition dictated rigid formality. Khaldon thinks of Lanriel as a fool who wastes his gifts, but he is also the only real father he has ever known, not that he would ever say such a thing.

At the age of eighteen, already a competent wizard, he left Lanriel's tutelage and was admitted to the exclusive ranks of Absalom's College of Mysteries. He was an able student, and though he was not amongst the most brilliant, he was the most dedicated. In ten years he passed each of the four mysteries in turn and achieved the rank of Enigma.

During his time in Absalom Khaldon spent a great deal of time involved with Osirion interests, notably in dealings with the Pathfinder Society. While never joining the Society himself, he accompanied parties on several succesful missions within the city - mostly to gain favor for his family.

At some point during his later years in Absalom he earned the nickname the Rapid. There are many differing reasons given fro this, from an unimpressed courtesan at the Silken Court - Absalom's finest brothel - or his ability to study, to his own explanation that he acts swiftly in a crisis. He does not seem displeased by the name, and is unconcerned about jokes at his expense - let the wretches laugh at their betters as much as they please, it changes nothing.

Now Khaldrun has returned to the nation of his birth, and seeks to earn fame and respect enough that he can help return it to greatness. He is staying with his family, and awkward situation since they are virtual strangers to him, and seeking a task that will bring him the wealth and repute he requires.
