Any encounter where having positive intimidate/diplomacy/charisma is a prerequisite :P Or a sneaky-type scenario thing where you need disguise/acrobatics/stealth/bluff or diplomacy or spells that take the place of those. The first of those seems to show up all the time and the second one I've had show up twice in two different games in the last year. Fortunately, both times I was playing a caster and simply used charm person, disguise self, blend, spider climb and a few others to keep up.
