I was surprised and dismayed to read the news that Pathfinder is sticking to 3.5. Having, until recently, been a Pathfinder superscriber, I had decided that converting all that Pathfinder material to 4E was just going to be too much work and I would cancel my supersciption and return to Pathfinder when it went 4E. I guess I can forget about that now.

That said, most folks here on the Paizo boards seem to be firmly entrenched in the 3.5 camp, so the decision to publish a Pathfinder RPG might not be a bad one. I can't help wondering, however, if this decision is in some way a thumbing of Paizo's collective nose at WotC for the whole Dragon/Dungeon debacle. It seemed to me at the time that Wizards pulled the financial rug out from under Paizo by taking away what were almost certainly their two most popular products. Fortunately Paizo's talented writers came up with Pathfinder, a marvellous campaign setting that seems to really be taking off. And, having determined that most of its fans will stick with it no matter what, Paizo is in a position to raspberry 4E entirely. In short, it seems that while WotC decided they no longer need Paizo, so Paizo now no longer needs them.

I'll miss Pathfinder, but I certainly wish Paizo the best of luck with it. Your thoughts?

I had wanted to keep up with the Pathfinder Chronicles setting, but with all the products Paizo continues to announce, it's just getting too expensive. Please cancel all my subscriptions.

This is just silly - I placed this order to take advantage of the Green Ronin discount, intended to make amends for Green Ronin sale orders that were delayed. Now the new order has been pending since February 23, even though all the items are listed as being in stock. That's irony for you. What gives?

I just got an email confirming it's shipping now. Never mind, and thanks!

I recently received order 853972, consisting of GameMastery Module J2: Guardians of Dragonfall (OGL) Print Edition . Although I am also subscribed to Pathfinder and my combined shipping option is Hold subscription items for monthly shipment, this item was for some reason sent by itself and I was charged $6.18 for UPS Ground from Bellevue to Pacific (in the same county). This is nearly half again the price of the item! It is unclear why Pathfinder #5—Rise of the Runelords Chapter 5: "Sins of the Saviors" (OGL) Print Edition was not shipped at the same time and is still pending. Can I safely assume that when Pathfinder #5 is sent there will be no shipping charge? Otherwise, this combined shipping option doesn't seem to make much sense.

Thanks,

I've tried emailing the customer service address about this twice now and have yet to get a response. You guys must be busy:)!

So now that the print version of DUNGEON is resting in peace, are we ever going to see statistics for the DUNGEON iconics that have been gracing its covers since the new format was introduced?

I, for one, would have loved to see that in the final issue, with an <I>Enemies and Allies</I>-style progression at various levels. Is this something that could be written up for Paizo.com?

The ones that were available on the Dungeon website before it went over to Paizo? James Jacobs tells me only WotC has access to them now, and WotC customer support says they're no longer publicly available and the only way to get them is to find someone over the Internet that has them and can email them to me. So here I am. I had the things all downloaded when they were available but fell victim to a computer crash and lost them. By that time the Paizo site was up and they were nowhere to be found. Can anyone help?

Back in DUNGEON's pre-Paizo days, when it was included as part of Wizards of the Coast's website, most of the maps for the Third Edition DUNGEONs were available for download, and I had them all. Due to a recent computer crash, however, I lost them.

Would it be possible to put these on this, the Paizo website? They can't take up that much space, and they're obviously already prepared. I, for one, would really appreciate it. The new PDF supplements are wonderful, but once in a while, I like to run an older adventure, like, say, "Playing with Fire," and the maps made great props then as they do now.

Failing that, is there anyone here that might find it in their hearts to email me the maps? My address is keokiyoung@gmail.com.

Thanks!
