Background:

The oldest son of Keldon Ironhand, Kenton learned his smithing skills from his father from an early age. As he grew older he assumed the responsibility of taking their goods to trade with the other races. Though he has been out in the world for some time now Kenton still has the abrasive manner associated with his kind.

Kenton carries the emotional scars of being unable to save his younger brother during an attack by orc bandits on their trade caravan. This has caused him to become fiercely protective of his remaining family and friends. It has also kept him from being able to concentrate on his work at home, and so he has departed for Azurestone to clear his head and to reconnect with his mother's family who live there.
