Background:

Background: Kellen was born into a middle class family on the moon Nar Shaddaa. His father was a successful trader, his mother was a teacher. Though his parents worked hard they never really rose above to a better life. Kellen worked for his father when he was younger and decided he wanted more from life. While getting a higher education, Kellen realized his was smarter and quicker than his peers. He used this advantage to rise in his class but it came at the cost of becoming a bit cocky and over confident. After leaving school he decided to try his hand in trading as well as any activity that paid well and got connected with some of the shadier characters on Nar Shaddaa. After a few close calls with both the law and the Hutts that ran the local underworld he realized it was time to escape. Kellen now is hired jack of all trades doing anything that will pay the bills, and increase the size his purse. Overall he does not really choose sides in the conflict but finds the rebels have the need and the credits.

The Bounty:

The Bounty: A few years after starting his trading career he was asked to slice into the local government network and alter official manifests and well as issue licenses to transport material. Little did he know at the time that the job ultimately came from the Hutt Cartel. After being caught by the law for another crime he was forced to change the manifest of a certain transport ship or face severe punishment as well as having his father's business and freedom taken from him. The altered manifest resulted in the transport owned by the Hutt Cartel being seized. The ship had restricted supplies bound for the rebels. The cartel has since place a sizable bounty on Kellen's head.

The Blackmail:

The Blackmail: Rakka Bardok, a corrupt official in the pay of the Zann Consortium caught on to Kellen fixing contracts to get his father more lucrative work. His father did not know what he was doing. The official has called in several markers to have Kellen do illicit work with the most recent being the job that lead to a Hutt Cartel ship being captured by the empire. Kellen knows that Rakka will appear again with larger more dangerous jobs in the future.

The Debt:

The Debt: When the hutts and the law started to come calling, Kellen's father finally had enough. He knew his son would not last much longer on planet and needed to get away. He was able to call in a favor and get a YT-1930 transport ship for his son on the condition that one day the debt would come on Kellen's head. Kellen has no idea who will ask him when the debt is called in but he knows one day it will come and wont be cheap.
