Storm Dragon Has Wrath & Glory come a long way from its initial release? I spent a small fortune for some kind of pre-order (maybe it was a Kickstarter?) and the system I received was a total mess. I know that Cubicle 7 has it now, but after spending so much to receive a really messy, chaotic system, I never got back into it.

As for Keira, she's an adaptable survivor who has served the Inquisitor for several years. She knows her worth, and is happy for her role, but perhaps might feel a little unimpressive with a trio of psykers, two tech-priests of mars, a clergywoman with a (giant?) chainsword, and a mutant medic. She would likely be closest to Venatalia and Caesilia, given their similar backgrounds and skillsets.

Always late to the party. I am good to go!

I am excited to bring Keira to life in this game.

Keira is a survivor - a rebellious child-of-privilege turned tortured-slave-girl turned grifter and bounty hunter. She is a skilled gunfighter, and talented with stealth and deception.

As for gear, she would have lots of pistols of different types, some light armor (maybe armored bodyglove or light flak), and stealth items (stummer, camo cloak, etc).

I will look over the skills and see what it does for me. I will move 2 points from Str to Agi.

This is Tara Ravenheart, dotting in with my avatar. I don't have everything filled in yet, but wanted to get the basics in the page.

Feel bad, it seems like my arrival ran it into the ground. But yeah, I think people expect constant shootouts in the 40k universe, when the games themselves are actually very roleplaying intensive. RT could be fun.

After slipping out of the bar, Keira slips into a nearby alley and looks for any lingering members of the Babyfaces who may be plotting some additional point of attention for her new master.

perception: 1d100 ⇒ 76 a tank could be following me and i wouldn't notice...

After suitably assured that she is not being trailed, she makes her way to the Wraith's Tomb. She would speak with these new players, but on her terms. Perhaps they could get her out of her servitude and off this misbegotten rock. Of course, what would there cost be?

She intentionally takes a wandering, circuitous route to the Tomb. Let them get there first, perhaps then I can determine their role in all of this... As she rounds the corner, she can just make out the Tomb a block away.

Still ill shaken from the reveal of Skinner's grotesque face, Keira is rather distracted at the table with the drink in her hands. Damn, what happened to that man's face? And what has Guiljian dragged me into... As the Babyfaces pass by, she catches the eye of the female and nods back to her. Strange mask...

Turning back to the stranger, "Bold requests, asking questions plainly in the open that could get me killed. I take it you travelers aren't from around here. As to the Babyfaces I know enough to recommend you stay clear of them, and the other various hive gangs. Find your way back uphive, or better yet offworld, while you can. Thanks for the drink." She tossed the cup back and drains it completely. Leaning in close to Volc, she leans in close. "Oh, and too bad on the first exchange, it could have been fun. I hear your kind can get a little wild." She leans in and kisses his cheek, then walks out.

Volc:
As she kisses Volc's cheek, she quickly whispers, "Wraith's Tomb, one hour"

female Frontier World Outcast Desperado

Hi all, did I scare everyone away by joining the game? Volc, in case it was unclear I approached the table and addressed you.

female Frontier World Outcast Desperado

Wow, Odette, so sorry as I know the feeling and have certainly been there before. Good luck with the new job, hopefully things will level out with time.

female Frontier World Outcast Desperado

Wow, first die roll in game and it sucks! This is gonna be a fun start. Greetings all, btw.

Willpower for Fear(1) Test: 1d100 ⇒ 87

Having evaluated the Babyfaces as little more than wealthy malicious playboys, Keira is caught offguard by the hideous deformities beneath Skinner's mask. She steps back as her face goes to shock, then grasping for her words, replies. "My apologies, I will let him know." Then turns, ready to depart.

The waitress has to touch Keira's arm to get her attention, and startled she looks from the barmaid's face to the table in the corner and is Feral worlder. Strange, new players in game? Other friends of my master, or possible business interests? I guess we will see...

Straightening her cloak though still clearly unnerved, Keira approaches the table and looks to the Feral worlder. "This isn't some archaic mating offer, is it?"

female Frontier World Outcast Desperado

Pet? Damn these chains of ownership. It got me offworld, but now I am wrapped up in this mess... The filth before her likely deserved a good blast from her lasgun, but she had a purpose here... the sooner I do the work, the sooner the servitude is complete. perhaps I can find someone to alter this blasted device...

She put on a boldly fake smile, and reaching under her cloak produced the sealed parchment. "Oh, of course good sir, here is the message from my master." After handing it to him, she stands and waits, assuming he will be sending a response.

Kiera walked into the bar casually, seeking her target. She paused at the entrance only briefly, scanning the room while adjusting the weight of her oath cog, before the obvious mockery of their masks struck her. The Babyfaces... She adjusted her step and slowly, calmly approached the armed gang. She knew their type from back home, degenerate dilletantes, wealthy fools playing at crime. Only these ones had a legitimate reputation. Be on your guard, too many variables in this place...

Her long brown hair was pulled back in a series of braids with several pieces of jewelry woven in. This, combined with the multitude of tattoos covering her neck and the right side of her face gave her a strange, feral appearance. A gray cloak was wrapped around her torso, yet it did little to hide the voss pattern lasgun slung from her back or the well-crafted chain sword hanging from her hip. Despite her apparent comfort in the seedy bar, there was something... off... to her appearance. It did not all add up quite right.

Stopping before the cloudboys, she looked over the company, "Who's Skinner?

This is Tara Ravenheart, introducing my Forgeworld born Outcast Chirurgeon. I am still formatting the crunch and need to transfer over the fluff, hopefully after a couple hours of sleep.

okay, let's see if the Emperor wants to lend me his blessing for Fate points:

1d10 ⇒ 2 ....No

And Twist of Destiny

1d100 ⇒ 4 ....+5 perception, and a phobia. Interesting.

I noticed the group started without gear, then acquired it in game; but then a later player used standard rules with all equip good and one best. How should I handle my equipment?
