backstory:
I am Keeley first daughter of a noble sword lord, and I am a fraud! I was born in a cave in a forging land. My mother a Tian-Shus courtesan carrying an illegitimate child of a visiting Taldan noble. A child that cant be allowed to live by the Tain's.
My mother <name> brave woman knew my and her fate, so she fled to the far land of the Taldan noble hoping he would protector her. I was nearly a year old when we reached him. I was taken in not by his household by another noble a sword brother to my father. He was old with a young wife with their only issue was a twisted frail daughter not a proper heir. It was a subterfuge to keep up appearances until another child was born. My mother became my and the true daughter's nanny.
For seventeen years, I live the lie. Trained in the use of a Aldorn Sword as all sword lord children where, only I took to it like a dragon to the air. I was always a willful child more tomboy than a proper daughter. Taking risk, getting into fights with other noble children. Having adventures with a half elf girl. We've been best friends since age thirteen.
I suppose my lack of proper Taldan looks and etiquette is why the parents of my first boy friend found me unsuitable. They forbid him from every seeing me again. It left a scar on my hart, that until this day I swear there is a physical scar on my chest. (Hysterical injury – believes she is suffering from a real injury.).
My sword lord parents have had other children over the years. The first born son is now heir, but the lie continues and life goes on. My mother has become through loyalty and as a keeper of secretes advanced in status to be an adviser my noble lord parents.
A recent event has made it clear that I must rid myself of the lie that is my life. I was accused of stealing by another noble daughter, eventually my innocents was proven, but it hurt me personally to be accused, talk and gossiped about by the noble magpies. I new they were lies, but it only made me feel the burden to the greater lie of being the sword lord daughter unbearable. The time is now for me to prove my place in the world! Where better than the stolen lands.
