I'm fine with two as well, but I wouldn't say no to more now or maybe later. Never know who you'll run into in the wastes.

Male Dwarf Inquisitor 1| AC 18 T 12 FF 16| HP 10/10| F +4 R +2 W +5 | Init +2 | Perc +7

I'm good with continuing.

Male Dwarf Inquisitor 1| AC 18 T 12 FF 16| HP 10/10| F +4 R +2 W +5 | Init +2 | Perc +7

Kazgar looks at the crazy halfling and shudders as she speaks. "Mal... Who?"

Will Save: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25

Male Dwarf Inquisitor 1| AC 18 T 12 FF 16| HP 10/10| F +4 R +2 W +5 | Init +2 | Perc +7

Kazgar is examining the baker not Johanna. He has pointedly ignored her injuries to concentrate on the ones injured trying to restrain her. She's not going anywhere with a broken leg.

Male Dwarf Inquisitor 1| AC 18 T 12 FF 16| HP 10/10| F +4 R +2 W +5 | Init +2 | Perc +7

Kazgar quickly enters and makes sure everyone is in before the door gets closed. He watches the melee going on and it's sudden ending. He walks to the baker and examines his leg and says over his shoulder "Someone might want to shut her up before she brings more attention on us."

Heal: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18

Male Dwarf Inquisitor 1| AC 18 T 12 FF 16| HP 10/10| F +4 R +2 W +5 | Init +2 | Perc +7

Kazgar puts his head down as Kunala dismisses knocking down the door, "It was more of a threat to be yelled as once the door is down there is no putting it back quickly. We can hide in the barn I guess or go. Whatever you want."

Male Dwarf Inquisitor 1| AC 18 T 12 FF 16| HP 10/10| F +4 R +2 W +5 | Init +2 | Perc +7

Failing at each door, Kazgar gets more dispondant. When they regroup he says, "Either they locked us out on purpose and arn't letting us back in or something happened to them in there. If more undead show up we need to stay out of their sight. Let's threaten to hack the doors open and see if that gets a response. What do ya say?"

Male Dwarf Inquisitor 1| AC 18 T 12 FF 16| HP 10/10| F +4 R +2 W +5 | Init +2 | Perc +7

When there is no response Kazgar says to the others, "Let's try the other doors. You go to the other set in the back I'll try the front."

Male Dwarf Inquisitor 1| AC 18 T 12 FF 16| HP 10/10| F +4 R +2 W +5 | Init +2 | Perc +7

Kazgar watches the shambler fall to the ground and a rare smile crosses his mouth, "All praise Torag! I never thought that spell would kill it. Quick bend that fence back and I'll try mending it to make sure it's at full strength, then we can get back inside."

Male Dwarf Inquisitor 1| AC 18 T 12 FF 16| HP 10/10| F +4 R +2 W +5 | Init +2 | Perc +7

Kazgar smiles as the gate mends, but his smile quickly turns to a frown as he hears the answering shriek. "I should have known it was to good to last. We're going to have them all down on us now." He the gets the best view of the shrieker he can and throws a ray of positive energy at it.

Disrupt Undead: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22 Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 5
Disrupt Undead Crit Confirm: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4 Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3

Male Dwarf Inquisitor 1| AC 18 T 12 FF 16| HP 10/10| F +4 R +2 W +5 | Init +2 | Perc +7

"For the love of all things yet alive, would someone shut that thing up so I can concentrate!" Kazgar yells as he tries once again to mend the gate.

Concentration: 1d20 + 1 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 1 + 3 = 20

Male Dwarf Inquisitor 1| AC 18 T 12 FF 16| HP 10/10| F +4 R +2 W +5 | Init +2 | Perc +7

Kazgar swears at the undead as his casting fizzles. He looks at the others and says "Attack them though and over the wall. If you can keep them busy for a little while I should be able to finish mending this gate quicker than anyone dragging something heavy here." He then attempts to mend the gate again.

Concentration: 1d20 + 1 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 1 + 3 = 5

Or not

Male Dwarf Inquisitor 1| AC 18 T 12 FF 16| HP 10/10| F +4 R +2 W +5 | Init +2 | Perc +7

Kazgar tries to mend the gate with all the distractions going on.

Concentration: 1d20 + 1 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 1 + 3 = 8

Male Dwarf Inquisitor 1| AC 18 T 12 FF 16| HP 10/10| F +4 R +2 W +5 | Init +2 | Perc +7

Kazgar looks at the pieces of the gate. "You are probably right, but I have been gifted with the ability to fix things sometimes." He takes the pieces and puts them together the best he can and then prays as he holds them.

Kazgar can cast mending at will, it's up to you if this will fix the gate. The spells says all the parts need to be there and it looks like they are.

Male Dwarf Inquisitor 1| AC 18 T 12 FF 16| HP 10/10| F +4 R +2 W +5 | Init +2 | Perc +7

Kazgar bolts for the door say "Uh-oh! We're all gonna die now." He then attempts to close and lock the gate.

Male Dwarf Inquisitor 1| AC 18 T 12 FF 16| HP 10/10| F +4 R +2 W +5 | Init +2 | Perc +7

Kazgar motions to put the blanket down. Points to himself then the gate. Motions to the others and then the zombie.

Male Dwarf Inquisitor 1| AC 18 T 12 FF 16| HP 10/10| F +4 R +2 W +5 | Init +2 | Perc +7

Kazgar stops dead in his tracks and looks at the zombie. He then looks to the others to see what they want to do.

When you said the rear gate was left open was it the one near where we are dumping the body or the one to the north past the zombie?

Male Dwarf Inquisitor 1| AC 18 T 12 FF 16| HP 10/10| F +4 R +2 W +5 | Init +2 | Perc +7

Kazgar jumps at the sound, "I though that was death coming for us. I nearly soiled my armor. Let's do this quickly. Maybe we should shut the back gate while we are out here."

Male Dwarf Inquisitor 1| AC 18 T 12 FF 16| HP 10/10| F +4 R +2 W +5 | Init +2 | Perc +7

Kazgar stands holding the blanket as Johanna speaks, he replies to her "We're all gonna die, I agree. Let's get this over with so we can start the dying." He inches forward slightly waiting for the door to open. When it does he moves forward, blinking at the sunlight as the group moves out, toward the dumping grounds.

Male Dwarf Inquisitor 1| AC 18 T 12 FF 16| HP 10/10| F +4 R +2 W +5 | Init +2 | Perc +7

Kazgar sighs "Let's get this done. Everyone grab a limb. I'll need to look at that leg when I get back."

Male Dwarf Inquisitor 1| AC 18 T 12 FF 16| HP 10/10| F +4 R +2 W +5 | Init +2 | Perc +7

Kazgar looks at the others and quietly says, "Food is the important thing. Water I can create."

Male Dwarf Inquisitor 1| AC 18 T 12 FF 16| HP 10/10| F +4 R +2 W +5 | Init +2 | Perc +7

Kazgar watches the newly created zombie and shakes his head sadly. We failed her like we failed all the others. It just not worth dragging out. He looks to the others, "We're all gonna die, might as well go down fighting trying to survive."

Male Dwarf Inquisitor 1| AC 18 T 12 FF 16| HP 10/10| F +4 R +2 W +5 | Init +2 | Perc +7

Thank you for the invitation. I'm glad to hear they figured out what was going on with your wife.

Figured I'd throw my 2 cents in here. I've been following since the second recruitment, and it's the only one I am following that I'm not playing in. This has been a very good tale told by all and can't wait to see what happens next.

I give for your consideration Kazgar Shieldsmith devotee of Torag.

Kazgar's Story:

We have failed! Kazgar stood on the mountain looking down on the entrance to his home town in the Five Kings Mountain. The only thing moving down there were undead. Despondent he was about to step down the path to take as many of them as he could with him, when the High Priest of Torag put a hand on his shoulder. "I have a mission for you. You must head to the High King and let him know what befell here today. I will make sure you are not followed and will catch up with you." Kazgar never saw him again.

His home had been a happy one. He grew up the child of forge-masters and learned the crafts of arms and armor making. He spent his free time on the mountains, hunting goats and avoiding the giants. As he grew older he felt a Torag's calling and presented himself at the temple for training. He was trained to defend the purity of Torag's faith.

Then came the night of the Red Harvest. Kazgar was lucky. He the high priest and a few other acolytes were not in the mountain. They were high about the entrance checking the stone circle for the upcoming festival. A few days after setting out for the High King he came upon a small dwarf family beset by undead. He had a choice: come to their aid and risk his mission or continue on leaving them to their sure deaths. He should have stayed and helped. When he came near the capital all he could see were undead everywhere.

Though despondent the only thing that keeps Kazgar going is the knowledge that there are still dwarfs out there to protect. Why else would he still have his powers from Torag? Protect the living. Purify the faith. Teach his crafts to the next generation. And maybe, just maybe one day remove the undead blight.
