Appearance:
Kartu is a tall well built man with dark hair and startling blue eyes. The first thing most notice about him is the the fact he is covered in a riot of color that is in fact a multitude of brightly colored scarves interwoven around his torso. He favors wide prim hats and wears a white scarf around his neck and another scarf around his shoulders like a short poncho. Those with a keen eye notice that his shadow does not match the man but appear to have wings.

Background:
Kartu origins is a mystery even to himself. His earliest memories are of living on the streets in underbridge. He spent most his time running free with other children living on what could be scavenged and with the help of older children. As he grew he started to add pick pocketing to his list of survival skills. It was about the time he physically reach about 9 years for a human that the local Varisian's noticed that he was not aging at the same rate as the other children. After several destinations it was found that Kartu had celestial ancestors. Seeing this as a sign of favor from the Empyreal lords, they took him in and decided to see to his education. Over the next several decades he was raised by a numerous amounts of "Uncles and Aunts". Ever few years his new life would become tedious and he would run off to underbridge to run free for a few days before one of his "uncles" would be sent down to drag him back to the marches in Keystone.
Kartu's education was varied, he learned a little from one Aunt or Uncle then would be passed to another family member to learn another set of skills. Learning magic, combat, fortunetelling and even history.
