About Kalla the Boiling Rose
notes:
got the plague, nursed back to health by Dawn and Laszlo
had a sister, loved and annoyed, something bad happened to her.
notes on weapons/armor/clothes:
-> Bastard sword strapped to her back, hacks with the weapon like chopping wood, her newest weapon
-> Light hammer with short width between heads, round heads like back of a ball pein hammer, one of her favorite weapons on the street, smashing is less messy, just as painful and easier to leave the person alive, rests on her left hip
-> Rope Dart has always been the best though, scares people as the sharp blade on a dyed blue rope spins at top speed before darting out to stab or slice. Rests in a coil on her right hip.
-> Her armor is worn studded leather, white and blue, since intimidation is key to ended a fight before everyone is dead. How is blue and white intimidating, well blood shows really good on the white, and since most potential fights still ended up in a fight for her, it worked well. Blue she just likes.

Your homeland has been riven by disaster after disaster, but even at its height, the decentralized nature of your people has allowed them to be dismissed as barbaric, unworthy of study, or even remembrance, but no longer. You have convinced Jorsal of Lauterbury, Venture-Captain of the Pathfinder Society to stage a small expedition into Iobaria, where plague-emptied ruins and the remnants of Sarkoran tribes forced to flee their homeland await not discovery, but recognition of their worth.
Choose two attribute boosts. One must be to Charisma or Strength, and one is a free attribute boost.
You're trained in the Diplomacy skill, and either the Academia, Iobaria, or Sarkoris Lore skill. You gain the Hobnobber skill feat.
homelands:
Mendev – A land of crusaders that has only recently ended a century of demonic warfare after the glorious success of the Living Wardstones in sealing shut rifts to the Abyss in neighboring Lost Sarkoris. The land however is exhausted, its cities no longer swell with allies here to join the cause, or even the hucksters and cultists here to take advantage of the constant strain. The Mendevians are triumphant, but weary; though some have begun to look back towards their ancestral homeland of Iobaria, looking either homeward, or for the next challenge.
Common Ancestries: Humans (inc. Aiuvarins), Halflings, Dwarves, Nephilim, Fleshwarps (Neathers), but Mendev has only recently stopped being an intercontinental destination for crusaders, and has a wide variety of less common ancestries.
Common Classes: Wilderness-based classes are less common, but a strong strain of Sarkoran refugees maintain those skills. Mendev was until very recently a military theocracy with a strong bent towards uncovering internal treason, and Champions, Clerics, Fighters, Investigators, Oracles, Rogues, Sorcerers, and Wizards are all very common.
Sarkorans – Lost Sarkoris was a land of scattered nomadic or semi-nomadic tribes, but everything changed when a witch ripped open reality and turned Sarkoris into a gaping Worldwound into the Abyss. After a century of fighting, and more than a few miracles of dark and light, the Wound has been scarred over, and the Sarkorans that escaped are now beginning to return to their ancestral lands from where they had fled (often Mendev, the Realm of the Mammoth Lords, or Iobaria)
Common Ancestries: Humans, Nephilim
Common Classes:Animists, Barbarians, Bards, Druids, Rangers, Rogues, Sorcerers, Summoners, Thaumaturges, and Witches – though they have a History with Witches.

--------------------
Born destitute to a cheerful drunk and a blisteringly angry mother, neither of whom had time for their daughter even though they actually loved her. Kalla grew up more or less in the slums of Kenabres with the rest of the dregs of her mother's people, the Sarkorians, showing obvious signs of taint of some kind with her eyes full of dull black.
Not imagining anything more than life than gangs, she threw herself into living, leading, fighting, and other vigorous activities, defending her own like kings and queens, and not caring about who she hurt as long as she could imagine them entitled or faceless.
But life catches up to all. For her it wasn't a grand event, not even a good story, just a realization, an opening of those dark eyes, and her heart couldn't take it anymore. Something had to change. That is when she cleaned up, sought the pathfinders to help her people.
Kalla earned the nickname in the gangs of the boiling rose, one for her anger and passion, two for the rose glasses she almost always wore to cover her black eyes, which she still does. Better to give the good folk of the lands a moment or two of thinking the pretty young woman isn't some evil demon about to eat them.
She's a half breed of Ulfen and Kellid with some bit of elf and orc mixed with a cup of dark pits of the abyss and a teaspoon of the lofty heavens. A whole melting pot in one woman's body. All the bits mix well, so she is quite lovely, though the black eyes are off putting. Her heritage also seems to make her much stronger than she actually looks, a faint she uses frequently.
She is charmingly violent, pulling a crowd with her with ease, desperately caring despite wanting to fall in the bliss of not being so, and still has no idea what she truly wants out of life or even who she really is inside.
That in a nutshell is Kalla.
