I have been looking at a way to build a character that controls all four basic elements (Fire, Earth, Wind and Water) Something like the Avatar from the cartoon. There's a Druid build in Kobold #15 that comes pretty close, but not near what I'd want. The other option would be dipping into three to four different classes which would mean you would forever be behind your party in strength. I looked at just using the Magus and going with spells that focused on the elements, but I would think for the class to really work you would need spontaneous spell casting over prepared spells. Does anyone have any ideas or see something simple I've overlooked?

I was just wondering if a player is invisible and flanking do they stacking bonuses form invisible and flanking? I would think they only get the invisible bonus which is better because it's +2 and they are flat footed.

If you take a level of Magus and a level of any other arcane casting class, but only chose spells you aready have as a Magus, does the 20% chance of failure still apply? I would think that the 20% failure chance wouldn't apply to spells like Magic Missle or Shocking Grasp if you prepared them from both classes, but Mage Armor which isn't on the Magus spell list would have the chane of failure.

Can a player playing the Monk class take Extra Ki feat at fist level before they get the Ki pool and have that 2 extra Ki points to use or would the feat be waisted?

My party recently fought a band of orcs and a Summoner. The party caster was able to use the sleep spell on the Summoner, taking his Eidolon off the field. However due to time we didn't get the chance to finish and the orcs ran off leaving the Summoner, all to be resolved this week. Since the Party decided to keep to Summoner as a hostage and not kill him, do they get XP on the Summoner and the Eidolon?

Is there a spell that a coven of witches could use to enslave or charm a small tribe? The witches would be 8th level, 3rd level cleric/2nd level witch, and 4th level witch. If not enslave or charm, maybe encourage them to be cannibals.

I want to use flying boats/airships in a game but don't know of any material that would tell me how to make them fit into the rules or what rules to govern them by. Anyone know of anything that might help?
