Kai Grits her teeth, realizing that now is the time to try to stop this mad doctor. She moves up in her heavy armour pointing her tactical spear out front of her readying for any attacker that tries to get past her. ((internally: If we can show strength then she may give up, may be able to still be redeemed..))
Kai looks over Hacks shoulder as the text appears on the screen, looking a little hypnotized by the technologies. After a moment she looks up with a mix of stoic and angered. "I guess this proves they have been snatching up locals and experimenting, likely killing them in the process. This raging up or dying is a worrying sign of the drugs they are researching. Science is not worth this many lives, this gray scientist needs to be stopped."
Kai begins to count off on her fingers, the tactical pike in the crook of her elbow. "One. I am Kai-Ryah and we are the Dromada rescue force. Two. We are here to rescue and there were no signs to say any restrictions. And Three. Not even going to offer us some of your noodles.. that just inhospitable." She says with a matter of fact response "Oh and your Vesks are sleeping on the job back there"
"If you can keep it in good range, we can at least know what is in front of us. Not all things can your sciences see.." Kai says as she begins to cautiously approach, keeping an eye out as still distrustful of this new technology. "I have a rope i can climb up and lower, or if someone else is better at such rises?"
"I am but a conduit to the dawnflowers light. But she does grant me powers to help those around. Her power transcends language and can pull us back from the void" Says Kai seriously.

As they make their way to the first of the witnesses Kai will take a quiet and respectful posture and ask "my friend, we might not be of your world but I am happy to roll up my sleeves and toil in your fields if you need another pair of hands. The light of Sarenrae helps all the plants to grow." and if she is welcome will see if she can help with some planting.
When they get a chance to camp and rest Kai will explain a little more of what she has seen. **"I looked over these cat creatures before we came through. I have seen some creatures put off their food in the past. They are afflicted by something that stops their blood from forming over their wounds and takes their sustenance from them. I fear for what could affect this planet in this way." She seems to have been holding her wooden holy symbol as she explained.
Standing near the back of the room, a human woman at the back of the room and nods in agreement. She is in long flowing blue and gold robes over a suit of armour, the symbol of Saranrae hanging loosely in her robes. "The dawn flower's light will be with us. I am not capable with these technologies but i can keep everyone intact where ever we travel. If we can speak with him then we will make all attempts to use words instead of blades." She hoists a backpack ready to head to the shuttle bay. |
