Male Changling Racial Wizard 3

Up to the DM, I don't care one way or the other. Patrick is there, and would I know about, some sort of manifest system to the lightning rail that we might be able to examine to figure out who and how things are coming in to the town?

Male Changling Racial Wizard 3

yeah, I thought maybe the houses had diplomatic ties so you might be able to find out if someone was planning a visit. We could either ignore certain people by that information or follow them because of it. If they had a dragonshard on them we could *Possibly* ignore them becuase we know they are here "officially".

"Yes shifters don't have marks... but they may try to establish contact with whomever is coming in for them at the station. If we see shifters talking to someone with a shard that person might be more interesting to use than someone here with a shard not talking to shifters."

"So all we know is that they will have dragon shards and that they are coming in by rail? Hm... How many stops are expected for the rest of the day? We should probably keep an eye out for any shifters too." Kael turns to Kaellead, "Could you find out if any Dragon House members are supposed to be coming into town today?"

Kael moves the pieces a few times on the board, packs it up then follows about 10 feet behind Rurik.

Kael currently under the guise of a Young Male Gnome in upper class robes sat on the chair. He had his gameboard out and was looking over a set up waiting for their contact to arrive.

Alright I figured out how I got the horse:

The elven family that had it originally had an older brother that took care of the business aspect of the horses (buying, selling and studding out the horses). He had a much younger brother (child) that everyone thinks will become a druid becuase he was always out playing with animals and taking care of the horses. This irked his older brother who wanted the younger one (when he got older) to help look after the business as there was a lot of it. While he was out in the woods Kael took the younger brother's form for about three weeks and while the older brother was doing paperwork he would come in and watch quietly. After the three weeks he asked the older brother about different parts of the paperwork like he was getting interested in it. Finally Kael asked how the older brother to show him how he would requisition a horse for someone. The older brother filled out a form as an example and Kael suggested his own name when that line needed filling, when asked where the name came from he simply said it was the name of his latest pet eagle. Later that week Kael came to the office while the older brother was out with the requisition form and walked out with his new horse and left town. According to all the documentation the horse is completely legally Kael's... but there is probably an elf or two that aren't happy about it.

:: EDIT ::

I'm glad to hear it xdahnx and that does explain it.

How do you want us to do HP?

xdahnx, reading that hurt, and not in the so good way.

PbP but we are full of players right now, we've already turned someone else away... you are free to lurk though and wait to see if something opens up.

Ok, I changed up my flaws slightly, I took a metal allergy to cold iron (I typed in what I thought it should do), and Conceited. I like noncombatant but I didn't want to duplicate someone else's flaw choices, just a personal thing for me.

Kael is travelling around. So far he's been to the ironroot mountains, Valanar, Cyre, and he's now in the Eldreen reaches researching about his allergy.

I should be completely finalized from a mechanics point of view tonight or tomorrow morning.

Hey, Patrick, I have an idea, I would like you to consider, it might not even end up mattering, but still:

I would like to add in a feat called "Racial Specialization". It would have as a prerequisite "Racial Emulation", and would read as follows:

Spoiler:

Racial Specialization
Your familiarity with one race allows you to easily adopt their mindset and mannerisms no matter your physical form.
Prerequisites: Changling, Racial Emulation
Effect: Choose one race, you are always considered a member of this race no matter what shape you choose with your minor shape change ability. This feat may only be taken once, and once taken you may not change which race you have specialized in.
Normal: With Racial Emulation you are only considered a member of that race while using your minor shape change ability to resemble that race.

If you don't like it, I'll live no problem:

IF anyone else knows of something like this that already exists let me know please?

Kaellead, I don't know if all of these will pass muster but here is a list of some extra flaws:

Wiki homebrew character options

Ebberron has them, I don't know if they are around before the war... You'll probably be from a town like Varna, or Merylsward or Cree... Those are the big ones from my understanding.

The Eldreen Reachs state they belonged to Aundair before the war... is this correct? I don't think it makes a huge difference I just want to make sure I have the basics correct before we start.

I fixed my skills.

Would a Magebred Valenar Riding horse be available?

Ok... so everyone except the warblade can do something arcane...

The warblade just does wierd wire fu stuff that isn't magic but also not possible by the rules of physics...

I'll still take it. Only thing we don't have yet is some form of healer, and I'll grab some use magic device later, and if need be use my two out of class spells from recaster to get some more healing for us... I'll also have bear's endurance to 'help' some too... I'll need to look in the spell compendium and around to see if I can't find anything else to help out some.

Actually a duskblade privateer sounds like a great fit to the party to me. Gives a solid fighter type with great aces up his sleeve.

So far everyone can do at least a little arcane magic of some type, and the factorum and wizard are sleathy types too. I think this is going to be neat.
