About Kaath Adak

Background:
While not born in space, war has left it's mark on Kaath's family, who was forced to live as wandering refugees for most of his childhood. While many of his family settled down at the first possible opportunity, Kaath just kept living the life style, not knowing anything else. Always fascinated by how things were put together, and often in situations where resources are limited, he has slowly taught himself how to slap crude devices together while staying alive. Although he has shown a limited amount of talent with the force, he has neither the ability, resources, or interest to particularly pursue the level of study required to truly master more than a few basic survival tricks. Being a jack of all trades (pilot/mechanic/general spaceship crewman), he makes his way through the world, hoping some day to afford his own small ship that he can use as a base to make a living out of, but for now, everything he owns he carries on his back.

Personality:
Tough, and bearing many physical and mental scars from his past, Kaath is slow to trust, but loyal to those who earn it. Not much of a social person, he has learned enough social skills to get by without creating additional headaches for himself, though he still prefers the more rough and tumble crowd. Generally a practical person, though he usually tries to be hopeful of the future, having survived long enough to learn that patience, endurance, and flexibility usually pay off in the long run. His appearance is one of a typical grease monkey: tough, simple clothes, many of which have permanent grease stains.
