I ask here because, unlike a such a qeustion posed at the WotC boards, I KNOW I will get an answer I can trust.

So here goes.

What is known about the proto-devils/proto-Baatorians? What sources are they in? What, if anything, can be drawn from this? (In lieu of any real information, I'll take speculations or anything people have developed on their own...)

I know only that they are to the Batezu what the Obryth are to the Tan'ri- A precursor race that was once the true ruler of their current home, and now they're in decline. Much is known about the Obryth and their few remaining rulers (indeed, for a race in decline, they seem to be doing all right for themselves...), but I've heard next to nothing about the so-called proto-devils.

So... Just cuz I'm bored... I'd be happ to hear what little IS known about these frustratingly mysterious beings.

Thanks.

Okay... Minor spoilers for the end of Age of Worms, but I gots to know...

... There are what seems to be DOZENS of Liches running around Alhaster for the finale. I know that Kyuss attracts intelligent undead like moths to a candle, but Liches? Where did they all come from? Where ARE their placetries? Liches as disploseable adversaries? I know it's the end of the world, but this is kind of silly.

Am I missing something? It's a great adventure, really, but what is UP with the liches?

Hey all. I'm giving this another go.

If anyone in this part of Westchester COunty (socially void area that it is) has a game that needs players, I may be your man. If you're a player who wants a game... I may also be your man.

I've played D&D for... What? Seventeen years, off and on? I've been out for awhile, but desperate to get back in. I'd perfer D&D (3.5, any setting), but I'll consider anything.

(And if you have an online game... I might consider that too. I wanted face-to-face, but I'm open to anything.)

Contact me at justin_the_gm@yahoo.com if you got anything. You can respond here, but I'm not 100% likely to get it in a timely fasion.

Thanks in advance!

As is the girl on the cover... Oh my. :) I didn't think i'd be impressed by the Iconic Fighter, but I am.

Now all we need is the improved cleric art, and we're good. ;p

The illustration on page 37 was one of my favorites. I recoiled when I saw it.

Two pages later gives us the infamous "Two-Headed Dire Weasel", which is actually two dire weasels, but that isn't clear at first. (Actually, I was reminded of an Aspect of Demogorgon...)

Page 58 has a pretty fierce-looking image too. As does 44 (he really DOES have no face, dosen't he...?)

I really love the iconic charachters- They add a lot to the adventure scenes and covers. Plus, they're all REALLY cool.

I haven't finished the actual adventures, but they look good. I wasn't expecting to find anything impressive in Three Faces of Evil, but looking at it quickly... Classic dungeon crawl. Go down, don't come out until everyone but you is dead. Fine. Gotta earn those levels somehow. I'm sure that, in retrospect, Three Faces will be seen as an excellent kickoff to the campaign at large. (I just hope that Sphere of Annilation is used well...)

Keep up the good work, people. The art gets better every issue.

Well, it's pretty simple. In the Yonkers/White Plains/Etc area. I'm looking for games. D&D, whatever. Failing finding games, I'm willing to start one, probably in Eberron, looking for 4-6 players. Should I run a game, I will probably run it on Tuesday or Thursday. (Those are also the days I'm probably most available for games as well)

Either respond here or to my email address, true_kyosuke (at) yahoo (dot) com

Thanks.

This "god" is mentioned in "Wrath of the Abyss" in Dungeon 119, but without much information attached to it. I'd like some more information on this being. Yes, it only figured breifly into the adventure, but an adventure that so involves Abyssal entities and the like should detail- if only briefly- Any beings being worshiped in it. Some info on it would be appreciated.

If it IS detailed in the adventure, please tell me where, because I missed it.

As an aside, both this and the previous entry in the Istvin series look really good (I missed Dungeon 117, but i'm sure that one's good too). I might enjoy running them, if i ever get a group together (*sounds of muttered cursing*). They seem a bit deadly in places, espically the final battle with The Magloth, but that might just be my imagination.

Overall, its a great adventure, with a lot of things one could mine for a campaign. It just seems to be missing a few pieces. ;p
