From the ground justin hypothesizes I dont think they re from castrovel. I don t even know if they re animals. Puting yourself in the middle of hostile creatures to grab one fluffy snack, no matter how delicious, isnt unprecedented in the natural world but it is unusual. TLDR Longum your weapon has a +1 to hit and does 2dwhatever instead of 1dwhatever, so if you have a 1d6 weapon its a 2d6 weapon now for the next minute.

Seeing they seem to be in family groups and then re arranged, Justin will collect enough samples to do DNA testing to confirm that hypothesis.
