All his life, Juric has fancied himself a mighty Shoanti warrior, like his father. The trouble is, he's never even met a Shoanti warrior. His mother was a simple Varisian sorceress, and, while nothing she told Juric about his father was a lie, she had really only known him for a few days before moving on.
But, the lack of firsthand experience didn't stop Juric from training each and every day, and studying Shoanti culture wherever he could learn about it. He learned their language and their customs, and one day, he hopes to meet his father and prove himself a true warrior.
