[spoiler=Backstory]
Jing is crazy is the best way to describe him. He was born as more cat than folk for what most would describe as the typical catfolk. Though few know of the subrace of catfolk, he was born of the more aggressive Pantherfolk. He grew up learning how to hunt and kill as part of a pack alongside others of his tribe.
When he came of age, he set out into the world on a pilgramage to seek wonders and riches.
It was during one of his attempts to get into trouble that he happened upon poor Professor Lorrimor during one of his expeditions into the jungles. He saw the poor man surrounded by wild animals and Jing thinking fast pounced down to the man's rescue. He managed to fend off the beasts till help arrived and Professor Lorrimor thanked him profusely for saving his life. Jing was unsure what he meant by saying that he would be paid back one day but Jing argued that since he kept him from being dinner he should be allowed to keep the dead animals.
It was a few years later, Jing still hadn't gotten far into the world as an adventurer but a few new scars and a few happy clients had made him at least a chance to have a home base at an inn. It was there that he recieved a letter from Professor Lorrimor and he had completely forgotten the event until the letter reminded him so. In the letter was a ticket for a boat to make his way to the summons, it seemed that Professor Lorrimor had left him something and he wasn't gonna say no to a few trip and possibly riches. So he set off to see what was to happen.
