Johnathan will head to the tavern and try to gather information on the cursed reef and on any way to secure transport there.

Johnathan will buy drinks and join in any revelry that goes on in the tavern to improve endear himself to the patrons more.

Gather information 1d20+5 = 20+5 =25
Diplomacy 1D20+5 = 10+5 = 15

Sorry for the lack of posts i've had a lot of shifts at work recently

Johnathan will pay for a private room and the good meals totaling 10 silver pieces. after paying for his room he will head directly there and put away his gear keeping his sap and hand crossbow with him.

he will head to the Common room and over the course of a few (no more then 3) Drinks he will try to gather information about the local surrounding and any hazards one would encounter on these roads.

Gather Information Check 1d20 = 14+5 = 19

"I am not the not verbose person but if you will to talk I won't interupt you Orion, but I must ask that you drop the 'Sir Johnathan" Johnathan or Snow would do just fine"

Johnathan's eyes will meet Orion's inviting him to talk freely

"Mr Snow" Replies Johnathan to the Innkeeper, he walks closer to the innkeeper again and makes a gesture like he is expecting him to hand him something "Keys"

Johnathan walks up to the man at the door and in a quite tone not quite whispering "I require a private suite, one with a locking door if possible" he will then offer 3 gold pieces to the man (enough for a good room, one day of good meals, and a tip of 5 silver in the hopes of speedy service as he would much like to make familiar company with a soft bed about now)

Johnathan will get his armour that he left to dry. he will pack it away hastily Insted of putting it on. he will fetch and load his hand cross bow as well.

"Best we be quick with our departure, I didn't much care for that blinding and i don't want to see what else they have in store for us"

Johnathan stands up
"Well its little buddy here is dead so if he does come back he may have some help. It Would be best for us to move on now that the rain has stopped"

After Johnathan regains his sight he will look around the room.
If he spots the creature hit by the acid he will go over to it and look for signs of life. If it seems to be alive still he will administer a one of his potions of Cure light wounds to bring it around while gripping it firmly to make sure it does not escape.

Heal check 1d20 = 15 (untrained)

not sure if this is a new round but if so Round 3 of 3 for blindness

Johnathan listening to the combat begins to hear the sound of Violin being played. he is suddenly struck by the feeling that he should not listen to the music and crouchs down covering his ears.

Johnathan will Listen closely to the combat and if he can will try to distance hims self a bit from the creature.

Binded round 1 of 3
Johnathan covers his eyes and too late to protect from the flash of light stumbles around blinded. a few seconds and he composes himself and listens closely to the sounds in the room to warn him of impending danger.

Johnathan will take total defense (if possible while blinded)unless he becomes aware of the room getting darker in which case he will fumble around in his bag for his everburning torch to light the room

whispering to Bart "theres something a mis about those voices better wake the others" calmly and johnathan will take his crossbow in hand, he then moves over to Orion scanning the room for movement as he goes. he nudges Orion to wake him "we have uninvited visitors"

Johnathan loads his hand cross bow "it could be nothings lets just be on our guard for now" looking around at his sleeping companions "its best to just let them sleep wouldn't want to wake them for no reason"

Johnathan looks over the items in detail and decides them to be of little use to him and promptly moves his attention to other things in the room Searching around the room for small nooks or crannies that may have been used to hide other objects that would attract his attention more things like money or strange devices he is not familiar with

After Taking some time to hang up his armour to dry Johnathan will look around the room
if the room is large enough
he will move to the edges of the light as quietly as possible move silently check 1d20+5=21 if the room extends much farther past the edge of the light he will travel another 10 feet in to the darkness and listen for any unusual sounds in the room 1d20+4 = 5 rolled a 1 not sure if you consider that a botch on skills in your campaign

if the room is small enough that he can see the corners of it lit by the sunrod
then he will sit down with his back firmly wedged in to one of the corners and watch the rest of the group as they make the preperations for the night

Although his outfit does include a cloak Johnathan would prefer it not soaked with rain. he tries to explain this to orion over the roar of rain and lighting but his efforts are in vain as his voice will not carry far enough. he in instead tries to wave off the good natured offer from Orion as best he can

"bah infernal weather" Johnathan quickly takes off his armour and takes up a crouched position in the corner of the cart using his armour to shield him from the rain as best it can. he also stows any of his wooden gear crossbow,bolts,sap,Ect... so that they will not get wet fearing that they wood may crack or warp when it dries

"I am sorry for my Tardiness" he says as he scans the group on individuals on cart then looking back to Orion he reaches out his hand to shake his "I was a bit tied up with things this morning"

after thanking Corporal Hardstone for his efforts he will board the cart and take a more detailed visual inventory of his new Associates Equipment taking special note of any armor or weapons they are carrying


lol I didnt notice that i skipped the word and just thought they got proficency with the crossbow thanks bringing that to my attention

He was Born a fatherless child in a town far to the north his mother abandoned him after birth and he was given the surname Snow because of his pale skin. he was raised in a corrupt orphanage and taught get by on his own at a young age. his middle names are compeatly made up and he only uses them when hes trying to make an impression on someone
