Background:
John Smith is a half orc who left Avistan to find his fortune. Travelling many lands, his survival skills saved him from hunger and many nasty diseases. He finally settled down for a while in the Mwangi Expanse, when he found his greatest treasure, the young maiden Pocahontas. They spent much time together and she taught him her language. He told her of his adventures with the Pathfinder Society, and she was intrigued, but was not yet ready to leave her family. After a couple of years however he was getting the wanderlust, so he asked her if she would leave with him to join the Pathfinders, and she agreed on one condition. They get married before we leave. So the two got married and went back to Avistan for the honeymoon so John could show her his home. Now they wander together when they can, working to better Golarion with the Pathfinders.
